Lila pulled herself up on one of the boys little folding chairs and I guess it wasn't locked in place because it collapsed and she fell on top with her middle finger caught in the chair. Her finger is looking ok now, the swelling is down (I iced it) and its bruised pretty good. When she first did it her finger was pretty smashed and all dented in. I have never heard a baby cry like that. Gave her some motrin for the pain and a warm bath to relax her and nursed her to sleep. Nursing her again now because she woke up screaming. I hope she's better in he morning.
OUCH!!! yeah we've been there My niece caught her finger in an adult sized folding chair, that was bad super bruised and she couldn't move her fingers. Im sure she will be ok, is she moving them at all?
yeah, she wasn't moving it at first but i'm holding her while she sleeps now and she has her hand fisted so i know its ok. i think it still hurts her though because she keeps waking up really upset.
Poor little angel! I can imagine. Just makes you want to bundle them up in your arms to they can't ever get hurt. I guess it isn't so bad to provoke you to get an x-ray?

Thank you GraysMama for my beautiful siggy!
She's much better now. I could tell it was still pretty tender this morning but she's been fine as the day went on. I don't think it was broken, though it looked it at first. There's nothing they would do for a broken finger even if it was.
