Things are going pretty ok. The big girls are taking it all in stride but we're still having some meltdowns and back talk in an effort to get more attention from Mom and Dad. Charlotte is such a sweet baby and is sleeping very well. Most nights she sleeps in five to six hour stretches and Thursday night she slept eight straight hours! We're co-sleeping which isn't my favorite because I don't sleep as well, but it's working at the moment so I'm rolling with it. Of my three babies, Charlotte is by far the best nurser though we are currently trying to get rid of a case of thrush. I'm a little sore from that but otherwise nursing is going great.

Lee was supposed to have his vasectomy this past Tuesday but it was canceled due to snow. His surgery has been rescheduled for Jan 21st and I have a tubal ligation consult the first week of February - I'm not taking ANY chances!!

I'll post photos when I can, I'm NAKing on my iPhone at the moment.

Good to hear from your Kate! I was wondering how nursing was going. But I was pretty sure it was going well since you always give such good advice to others on BFing woes.

So who is adjusting better so far, Charlotte or Violet? Asking in hopes you say Violet's adjustment has been a breeze

No one is really adjusting badly, we just have our moments where one of the girls wants attention NOW and sometimes that can be accommodated and sometimes it can't, haha.

FYI, going from one to two kids is a breeze. Two to three... significantly more of a challenge.

I'm glad things are going well Kate. It sounds like she is a sweet little thing.

I've heard a lot of mommies say that going from two to three is a lot harder than one to two... I wonder why that is! Heck, the idea of going from one to two sounds really hard.

1 to 2 is easy as pie! I actually thought having 2 was a bit easier than having 1 because they would entertain each other. 3 was like moving to a different planet. It was so freakin' hard. I originally wanted 4 kids, but after #3, I was so done!

I think it's probably a lot harder when all 3 of them are home all day though. None of mine were in school yet when #3 arrived so I was WAY out numbered. Plus, I also had to go back to work for the first time in 5 years when Lyssa was only 6 months old, so that added a whole new set of challenges. Getting 3 kids ready and out the door by 6:45am every morning = NOT fun!
