I have a Beco Butterfly II and a Baby K'Tan (it's like a Moby wrap but for dummies) and I cannot seem to manage to nurse while wearing the baby. If I have Charlotte in the correct position and close enough to kiss (one of the cardinal rules of BWing) then she's nowhere close enough to my boobs. I have big girls but there is no way I can mash them up high enough for her to even latch.

What are your secrets? I don't have enough hands or eyes to have the luxury of sitting down to nurse with three kiddos, I need to be able to nurse handsfree on the run!

maybe just do some stretching excersizes... pancake your boobs and stretch'em so they can go wherever baby is... hahaaha

I have no idea. Doesn't make sense to me... but I'd like to be able to nurse in an ergo when I buy one as the other boys need my hands. Would be SO nice out in the yard and stuff.

I don't think nursing in a wrap is going to happen for me. I played around with it more last night and the only positions I could nurse in either hurt my back or required I still hold her which totally defeats the purpose. I did however manage to figure out how to nurse in the Beco! I'm NAKing at the moment but maybe I can get Lee to take pics or video later so I can show you what I did.

With my wrap we never figured it out. With my ergo..... He lays his head on my boob while wearing him. So (at home) I just popped my boob over the top of my tanktop and then he was just the perfect height. It was so easy. While out I wore a very low cut v-neck shirt with a sports bra. Popped out the boob under the bra but over the shirt (homemade slit LOL) and again his head was just there.

I'd love to see pics/video. I didn't babywear a ton when he was little but I never could figure out how to do it. His head was always too far up! I think my boobs are located lower on my torso than some women (not just saggy just the position of how low they are on my chest) so that makes it harder b/c I don't see how I'll ever get baby low enough to nurse b/c my boobs are not going that high! Especially since latching can be hard enough when baby is small much less in a carrier.

I'm also using a shield so that can kind of complicate things, too. I nursed her again in the Beco and managed to strip and remake our queen size guest bed, woohoo!

I'd love to see how you did it in the Beco. I've been trying for 6 months to figure it out.

Sorry I haven't put up pics yet, Lee had his vasectomy on Friday and my in-laws are in town. Mainly I'm just trying not to strangle someone...

I have nowhere near big boobs, and I have never been able to figure it out in either my wrap or BabyHawk. I'm looking forward to seeing your video/pics!
