Did/does anyone in here feel like they can't get into their ddc? Maybe its still early but I feel like I just can't connect with the other ladies.
Sorry to complain, I was so excited to join a ddc and now I'm like meh whatever. I'll just post more in grads.

I get my first ultrasound Feb 8th. So excited! We heard the heartbeat and it was amazing. I totally cried

I'm really trying, but with so many new people so fast, and with it having a high volume of posts it is taking some work. I'm starting to recognize siggys and will eventually pair up siggys with usernames and then maybe start to recognize personalities and pictures. It takes a while but I'm still trying.

I've been surprised at the low number of posts from the grads there, since there are so many of us: Jessie, Shannon, Angela, Nami, and Katie too. But they all show up once every couple days. But this is their second or more child so they probably have less time to browse forums.

I really like mine even though I don't post in it as much as I'd like. The girls are very chatty and it moves too quickly for me.

I say give it some time. It's overwhelming at the beginning.

Carolyn yes I'm in august. I'm trying to recognize people and get personalities sorted like you but it does move fast. Especially since I can really only get on at night. I feel like it moves so fast during the day. I'm surprised about other grads not posting as much too but then again they do have other kids to watch after now. I am happy that there are so many wttc grads in our ddc.

I'm hoping I'll be able to get it sorted.

It's hard to keep up with sooo many posts and new people when a DDC first starts. To be honest it's a little nicer when people start dropping and then you feel like it's a tighter knit group.

I post on there but only on certain topics. Part of it is being busy with Matthew and part of it is that I've BTDT with pregnancy before. Just not as many questions/comments as I had the first time around!

I am really glad there are so many of us in August though.

I for sure feel that way, even with the March PR when it was a DDC, heck I still feel that way now that it's a PR and not so many people. It's super hard for me to keep up and post since I have mornings only(Which is middle of night for those in the States and Canada) so I miss out on so much.

It is nice having so many Grads in the August DDC though! I had Heather and Jenn in the March 10' DDC and was happy about that also.

I felt that way and still feel so at times even after being a member for 2 years. I just don't connect with them like I do with the ladies here even though I post frequently. I also feel as though they don't even really know me but I still hang around because it's great to been around persons who have children close in age and to get insights on a variety of things. So even though I don't feel as close to them, I still enjoy the playrooms. (I'm in 2.)

Yeah its so fast at first! They slow down...then I kind of figure it out better on the who's who and stuff. Me getting on depends on london's nap! LOL If its a long one I reply a ton....not a big thread starter anymore. If its a short nap I browse the first page titles only and read maybe reply. But i'm always looking for Grads threads! I read those everytime (that I see them at least! LOL)

Usually I hate DDCs AND playrooms, they annoy me and I've found a lot of people to be judgmental, uninformed and ignorant. I usually only participate because I'm bored

I have a really pleasant group of ladies in my PR, but i never really got into it, and i'm still not. Days go by that i don't check in.
