I've been meaning to write this post all week but I never got around to uploading pictures.

I had my baby shower last weekend. My mom hosted it and it was pretty small (a dozen people, mostly family), but we had fun and I got lots of gifts. Unfortunately, my acid reflux is making me cough a lot. I'm also very allergic to dogs and while no one brought their dog of course, just the fact that many of the guests have dogs and had dog hair on their clothes was enough to trigger a reaction. So I was coughing and sneezing the whole time!

I also stupidly forgot to take pictures! My mom took some, though they're not very good. But here are a few:






(The basket from my godmother and cousin was filled with goodies: a blanket, towels, a stuffed bear and various products I'll need).

The cake that I couldn't eat because of GD



I felt very spoiled. I got lots of clothes in various sizes, blankets, towels, two nursing tops and a few toys.

My godmother also filled my freezer with meals that she cooked (I think we have 25 meals). I think it's my favourite gift of all!

My cousin also gave me her whole stash of barely used cloth diapers. I'm very happy about that.

I tried taking pics of all the clothes but I couldn't get a good one. Here's the best I could do:

wow, what a shower! Chris looks so proud! I'm jealous of your stash, you'll make good use of everything, I'm sure. I love that your cake said "felicitations!" that's so cool!

Now I want cake!
