Uh huh.

Take her to a vet. Ask them to express her anal glands.

If shes an outside cat, ask them to test her for fecal parasites.

Other things to rule out would be flea allergy, folliculitis, hyperthyroidism, ringworm, and demodex mange.

I would try the anal glands first though. Second, I would get a test for ringworm.

Yes. Anal glands are two small sacks in the anus that are normally expressed when a dog or cat poops, however, if they become clogged, it can make the animal very uncomfortable. They will drag their butt on the ground, bite their butt and pull out all the hair, etc. If they stay clogged for too long, they can become impacted and infected and instead of 30US to fix it, it will cost 500US.

My cats both have had similar sounding spots of no hair and they had lil tiny booboo's that I didn;t see. They pulled out their hair so they could clean it I guess.

Helen that can be anything from mange, flea allergies, food allergy or just a lack of oil in the diet. Try finding something called Linatone (its given orally, its like a gel paste for cats usually found in hairball prevention) and try that for a week. If that does not work she will need a vet to rule out mange.
