Happy due date to me!

Well today is my due date! At least it's the one I calculated according to ovulation, my doc uses March 5th as my due date.

I had an appointment this morning and I'm now 3.5 cm dilated and 75-80 % effaced. Baby is also very low so all is good. I was 3 cm and 60 % effaced last week. The doc stripped my membranes this morning (it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would, it was just uncomfortable) and she seemed to think I won't make it to my appointment next week, but who knows.

I was happy she didn't mention an induction at all. I assume the topic will come up next week. I want him to come when he's ready so I'm ok with waiting still. But I am really excited and I can't wait to meet him!

So exciting!!! The stripping didn't work with my girls but it did with Seth. I had my membranes stripped the day before I went in for my induction with Seth at 39 weeks (thanks to diabetes) and I was already regularly contracting by the time I got there. I KNOW that if I hadn't already had the induction set up for that day that I would have had to go in LoL. Come on out baby!!!

@Angela I don't think I'll update while in the hospital (my old cell phone doesn't even have a keyboard for texting) but I will update on Facebook as soon as I can. I told Morgan she could update here and in our DDC when she sees the announcement (I'll try to remember to make it bilingual

) but whoever sees it first can do it really

yay i bet you go really soon!!!!! I understand the not wanting to update in the hosptital. When i was in labor with Teddy, i had my JM updater (heather) at my house all day. Then I texted her when i went to the hospital. Then the poor thing was left in the dark for over 12 hours lol. I was in intense labor and was not paying any attention to my phone. Then afterwards, i was too tired.

YAY!!!! I bet labor hits you very soon!

I had my membranes stripped with Loch and Lila. With Loch labor started 13 hours later, with Lila it started 10 hours later. And I was 3cm 80% with Loch and 4cm 80% with Lila when I got it done.

I can't wait!!!

Still nothing

I've had bad cramps all day, but only on one side of my belly and a little bit in my back. It's very unpleasant!

so exciting!!
ur more diated than i was when they first checked me when i was IN labour! ur ahead of the game! also i had cramps that were just like labour off and on the week prior to having her. every cramp counts towards labour!

oh ya, the day i went into labour i ate spicy huevos rancheros for breakfast & apparently im the second person it had put into labour! its worth a try if u like that kinda thing!
