BOY!
The tech asked if we wanted to know and right away she said "You have a son". He was flexing his legs way up towards his heads with his little boy stuff showing! He also gave a little yawn. He's like his mommy and thought it was too early for all this. We didn't get as good of pictures as we did with Matthew, unfortunately. I hadn't drank all that much OJ and though he was moving a little, he wasn't bouncing around in there all crazy like Matthew did. Maybe this one will be calmer. The angle of looking at him was different than what I remembered so I asked her was she 100% sure on gender and she said yes, totally sure and showed us again and it was pretty obvious.
I was a little disappointed at first but once it was over and we were eating breakfast I was thinking of his sweet little face and how I can't wait to meet him! I told Dh that it's more that I am sad because I want a girl, but not because HE isn't a girl. He is who he is, and my maternal instinct kicked in seeing him and I just love him so much.
And I thought of another big pro to keep me going if I ever feel any cute girly clothes envy....unless David changes his mind and springs for a 3rd and that one winds up a girl, I will NEVER have to play Barbies! (Sorry to all you doll and Barbie loving mamas, it's just not me )
Two little boys, wow! I hope Matthew and his brother grow up to be good friends with each other.
So here he is!

Yay!!! I bet you can't wait to see what this little boy will be like and look like. I think having two little boys sounds just about perfect. They will hopefully be great friends for life.
Just think of all the money you also get to save not buying girl stuff! I was wrong once again. lol

I'm so bad, one of my "girl reasons" was that I'd get to do more shopping! I know it will save money but I'd rather buy new stuff, haha. So I've decided this baby still still get new things (either "new" new or cosigned "new to me") for some of his clothes. And then of course my favorite things from Matthew that are the right season, he will wear as well because I have saved a lot.
The idea of two boys just sounds better all the time. I can't wait to put them in little matching/coordinating things. I already went to go look for a matching "little brother" onesie to match Matthew's "big brother" one but Carters wasn't open yet.
MIL doesn't know yet but all of a sudden this morning she said she is expecting a blue cake! I will have to post pictures of "the big reveal" tonight. (Telling Dh's family with a cake that's blue in the middle.) I already called my mom and TRIED to get Matthew to say "brother" or "bubba" when I asked him who was coming in August. He wasn't too cooperative but my mom figured it out anyway. I knew I couldn't hold out a week till she visits to tell her in person.

Ha! I knew it! I wasn't able to vote in your poll, but I was guessing boy.
Matching outfits sounds so cute! My mom dressed me and my sis in matching stuff (and she matched us as well) the pics are very cute, even today.

Congrats!! I think they will be great buddies.
I'm not a fan of the "high-fashion" dolls (barbie, bratz, etc) either.
