Hey girls! It's Cait (HopeWishWait), I hope some of you remember me! I've been gone about a year and a half now but decided to jump back into the JM fray.
For anyone that wants an update: Nic and I are doing great. We moved to San Diego last year and are currently surviving our first deployment. Conner turned 2 in February! 2! Can you believe that?! He's an amazing kid, so smart and such a happy go lucky person in general.
I just wanted to drop in really quick and say hi! Congrats to all the new mamas since I left!! And baby dust to everyone who's looking for some

Hi Cait welcome back!
Not sure if you remember me as I was a newbie then. I am Emma, Maried to Gary. We have a 3.5yr old little girl called Mia and we've been TTC number 2 for nearly 2 years now.

I can't believe time has flown and you've been gone that long. It felt like you were just here yesterday. Welcome back I'd love more of an update on Conner.

Happy to provide! We're in Thailand right now visiting family so we haven't had his two year appointment yet. So no stats for you! But I can tell you that at his last one he was in the 90th weight, height, and head percentile. He's a big boy! The doctor's exact quote was "Has he always had a big head?" and my responde was "C-section."
He was a really late walker, didn't start until 18 months but now runs...every...where...all..the...time. And talks up a blue streak. Babbles constantly with a bunch of actual phrases mixed in. His most common are:
What're you doing?
Ready to go!
1..2..3...Weeee!
Who is it?
Bing-Bong (the sound the elevator makes when it reaches the floor we're going to lol)
All done!
Uh huh or Uh uh (yes or no)
A bunch of little words here and there as well. His favorites right now are ball and bath, as those are his two favorite things
We got a Golden Retriever puppy in September of last year. Her name is Peach but Conner calls her Dabu. Don't ask me why, he just decided that was her name...and she answers to it.
Thats about all! All in all, he's just great. Couldn't ask for an easier, more wonderful kid

Congrats!! That's so wonderful I'm way excited for you!
Shockingly, I am, yeah I just got my BFP yesterday afternoon. Got the chance to go see Nic mid-deployment for 3 days. Guess we got a souvenir without even realizing it! From my (probably wrong) calculations, I'm due November 29th.
