Amara sleeps through the night most of the time but she will wake when she's teething or dreaming sometimes. She sleeps from 8PM until anywhere between 5 and 6:30AM.

How is Oliver doing?

The boys sleep fine. We have the odd night where one or both will get up because of a bad dream or something but for the most part go to bed at 6:30pm and wake up around 6am.

Lila still cosleeps, I don't think she likes the crib, I don't think its very comfortable for her. She also still nurses several times a night. Its not really a big deal since we're both in the same bed, I just pop a boob in and we both go back to sleep. lol

Sleep? What's that?

Julien usually sleeps in 2-3 hour stretches at night. We have a hard time getting him to sleep in his bassinet. He often sleep in my arms (or Chris').

Perfect over here. Conner sleeps from 8 pm to 8 am every day and takes a 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon.

Depends. Sometimes he sleeps 8-4 wants a bottle, and then sleeps till 7. Sometimes he wakes up 400 times during the night every 2-3 hours for no reason

Xander goes into bed at 6:30 p.m. and falls asleep at 7 p.m. (he insists on going to bed early so he can "talk" to his stuffed animals for a bit before he falls asleep, haha) and he wakes up between 6:30-7 a.m. He never ever wakes up during the night anymore, I think he was 11 or so months old the last time he woke up for some reason, even when sick or teething! He also naps from 1-2:30-ish p.m. Occasionally he'll nap til 3 or so if we've had a really busy morning.

He loves sleep like his momma!!

Normally we get a 3 hour stretch out of Jacob at first, then the rest of the night decreases from there on. By early morning it's only 1 hour blocks...

But in saying that, we got a 6 hour block of sleep last night!!! From 6.30pm to 12.30am!! God, I hope that continues It was awesome!!

Curtis has been sleeping through the night since he was 2. Before that he always got up once.

Dustin gets up atleast once still... and lately it's been not TOO bad to put him back to sleep. A cuddle, drink, music and tucked back in. However sometimes he fights it hard... and I'm up for hours trying to get him back to sleep. Sometimes he gets up a million times anight. He's NEVER slept through the night. Ok maybe 1 or 2 times but that's IT. UGH.

AJ sleeps very well. He gets up around 2ish to eat, then back to sleep right away.

All three boys go to bed at 8. Usually AJ and Dustin fall asleep right away, sometimes Curtis will read a book, or play with a toy until 8:30. Then they are up around 7 - 7:30.

Edward sleeps great, only gets up every now and then to go potty. Mason sleep through the night, though lately it's been tough because of teething but otherwise, no problems there! Preston is our HORRID sleeper!!! HORRID!!! UGH!!! We are planning on starting him on melatonin soon.

What are the reasonings for putting a child on melatonin and what does it do/what is it for? I've heard it mentioned before but I'm don't know anything about it.

Melatonin is a sleep chemical that your brain produces to help you fall asleep and stay asleep. Preston doesn't stay asleep. It's 100% natural.

Do we really have to go here?

Matthew sleeps from around 9:00ish to 7:00 or 8:00. For naps he usually is down 1.5 hr.

Our BIG issue lately is that it takes him forever to actually get to sleep and he needs us through the whole process. For naps I lay down with him and it takes about 30 min for him to fall asleep. For bedtime, Dh has been rocking him and it takes an hour for him to fall asleep, I just don't get it! Or if he only rocks him 30 min and puts him down awake (and Matthew is willing to be put down), then he will babble for 30 min before he falls asleep, so it still takes forever. I laid down with him for bedtime at my inlaws this past weekend and it took him an hour to go to sleep. Ugh. I don't know what is going to happen when the baby gets here b/c it is hard to devote that much time to getting him to fall asleep. But otherwise he screams b/c he doesn't want to be alone. Oh and he usually wakes once at night and is only up for a few min.

Charlotte is great at falling asleep, but she certainly doesn't stay asleep. She wakes up usually at least once or twice. A couple of weeks ago she sttn for several days in a row and it was heaven! But it didn't last.
