Hw often do you get a mommy break? Every day when DH gets home from work I am ready and waiting in my workout clothes. I either go for a brisk walk/jog or use my elliptical for 60-75 minutes.

How often do you get to have a date?
HA! We're actually going on our FIRST DATE since Xander was born tomorrow night!!! My parents are in town for Easter and agreed to hold down the fort while we go out. We have no family around here and I haven't looked for a local babysitter, so it just hasn't happened.

I have not been alone since before Lila was born. DH and I haven't had any time alone since before she was born either. We're long overdue.

How often do you get a mommy break? Only if I'm off from work and Amara is at playschool but I must say that I can still rest is she's up and playing. Sometimes I can be in a room with her and she's playing by herself or playing with me but a game where I don't have to do much like Doctor, etc.

How often do you get to have a date? Mainly on special occasions. There's always alone time when Amara goes to bed so it's not a big deal for us. We could watch a movie or do something at home and go out occasionally.

We do date night maybe once a month. Usually just for special occasions haha. And I have never had mommy time. The only time I'm away from the kids alone is when I' at work on Saturday. I need to work on that haha.

We go on a lot of "dates" right now, 2 a week at least. I know that will change once we add a third person to our family, so we'll have to start some new traditions/routines

Usually once per week even if it's going grocery shopping. About once per month I'll have the day to myself to go see a movie, have lunch, shop, get my hair cut.

We've been alone maybe 4 times since Oliver has been born. We could make it more often if we wanted. My mom is always willing to take Oliver if she isn't working.

Never and never. Nic's deployed. And God knows he's never home even when he isn't.

So it's Conner and I 24/7.

Mommy time is every night after Jax goes to bed. I take a long (45 min or so) hot bubble bath with my book and something to drink. This is my private time. Other than that, I may go grocery shopping after work while the in-laws are still baby sitting and they watch him pretty much whenever I need them to.

Dates? Well, once me and DH went to pull blood off a few llamas... is that a date?! Other than that we have only had one date since Jaxon was born (dinner, shopping).

I get lots of mommy breaks between work (photo sessions) and school. I also like to get out of the house to see friends, do work on my laptop in Starbucks, or go shopping. I have no shame in admitting that I need alone time. I get to be alone about every other day, just for a couple of hours. I am so thankful to have a husband who is ALWAYS willing to watch Reid without question or complaint. He is so great.

We haven't gone on a date in almost a year Since moving here, we don't have family to watch Reid and I feel bad having other people watch him (like Amy!) and it's hard for us to pay for a sitter.

Amy, I did manage to get you out of the house alone once!! haha. And, you'll get to get out when we go to the Ellen Show!

Mommy break?? What's a mommy break? I used to read every night after putting charlotte to bed but I haven't in a while in part because dh complained saying he wanted that to be "us" time, and in part because I feel like I just read a book that was so good it makes other books just seem pointless. Isn't that weird? That's never happened to me before, but I hope the feeling goes away because I love to read.

Dates are non existent in our house since we had Charlotte. We don't have much family nearby that can watch her and I won't go with a stranger. I feel like she is still too young anyway, she needs her mommy for bed time. And now that her stranger anxiety has kicked in I don't see it happening for a while! Hah!

Hw often do you get a mommy break? My MIL insists on taking Madi once a week for a few hours so I can have a break. I don't really need it and mostly just do it so Madi can be close to DH's parents. I usually go home and either clean or read depending on my mood and what state of chaos the house is in.

How often do you get to have a date? We usually get a child free date once every 2-3 months. A lot of times we'll just put in a movie after Madi is in bed and cuddle on the couch. Occasionally we'll take Madi out on a date with us if we really want to just get out of the house.
