I haven't really decided yet!

I do know that they will get their own rooms, but we are still trying to get our house ready to move into and I can't really do anything until that point.

I doubt Jaxon will be ready for a twin or toddler bed when this baby comes (he won't even be 2 yet). I think we will give the new little boy Jaxon's current nursery set which has a non-convertible crib and then buy Jax a new crib that is convertible. That way we won't have to feel rushed to get him into a bed before he is ready. I think having a new sibling will be adjustment enough!

Are you doing another nursery for you second child or did you? No cause she was in our room til 1yr 11mo old
Did you buy a second crib or pass down the one you already had? it would've been passed down if it wasn't in Nebraska and recalled, so she slept in a PNP till 1yr 10mo old
New bedding? see above
Will/Do your kids have their own room? They do now, before Kieran was in our room till 1.5mo ago. They couldn't share because of Seamus' sleep issues

We passed down the crib and bedding from Liam to Lochlann. We coslept with Lochy and started putting him in the crib for naps and to start out the night at around 6 months or so and Liam got a twin bed (he was a tad over 2). Once we started using the crib for Lochy they shared a room though we still coslept with him a lot. Lochy went into a twin bed a few months before he turned 2. We have the crib in our room now for Lila and got new bedding for her because after being washed so many times from the boys it was pretty worn out. She however still cosleeps and naps on our bed. She does not like the crib at all. And she's stuck in our room with us anyway because there's nowhere else for her to go. Did I mention how much I can't wait to get the heck out of here?

I know we won't be buying another crib because they first one didn't get much use at all. However it's now converted into a full sized bed so the frame is gettting used. We had a mini co-sleeper, crib, and pack n play for Oliver and never used any of it. Since I co-sleep with Oliver still I have no idea how it's all going to work out. I want to co-sleep with the new baby too but will have to figure out how it will work with two kids. I think we should get something for baby to sleep in since we got rid of the co-sleeper and the pack in play is used by the kids I watch for nap time. I just hate spending money on something we might never use again. Maybe I'll find one on CL or borrow one from a friend.

We won't do two bedrooms at first because our 3rd room has DH's stuff in it (computer, music stuff, shelves, fish tanks).

I coslept with one or both the boys since Lila has been born. It works out well. They come into our bed if they have a bad dream so a few nights a week one or both will climb in. And Lila's always there so our bed gets pretty full some nights. Good thing we have a king! When she was really tiny I just had to make sure there was something inbetween her and the other child, usually me or dh.

Are you doing another nursery for you second child or did you? I will be doing anohter nursery
Did you buy a second crib or pass down the one you already had? As of now we plan on buying a 2nd crib. I have mixed feelings about it, but Dh doesn't think matthew is ready to go in a toddler bed. But I kind of wonder if maybe he might be by the time baby is going into his room? matthew slept in the co-sleeper/bassinet until 4 months old so if this baby does as well, that is a long ways off. I'd like to go ahead and get the nursery ready if we are buying a 2nd crib but hate to spend the money if we aren't going to need it.
New bedding? Yup! I wanted his room to have its own theme.
Will/Do your kids have their own room? Yes they will.

Does his crib convert? Why not give it a test run before they baby is born? If it doesn't work out you can easily but it back and buy a second crib. He might surprise you. I've known several under two year olds that did better in a toddler bed or transitioned really easy.

It does convert. (Though then we couldn't use it as a crib if we converted it!) I was thinking of just putting a twin size mattress on the floor and seeing how he did with it. He haaaaated the pack and play at my inlaws house and would not sleep in it. And he wouldn't sleep in the crib at my mom's house either. But I think some of that was not wanting to be alone.

I'm game for at least giving it a try but I need Dh to be on board and he is scared Matthew won't stay in his bed at all if he's not confined. I think if we're going to trial it we need to do it soon, well in advance of baby's arrival.

Are you doing another nursery for you second child or did you? For Dustin he started off in our bedroom, and Curtis had his own room. I think he moved when he was around 6 months?

Did you buy a second crib or pass down the one you already had? We put Curtis in a toddler bed when he was around 20 months, so he would be used to it long before Dustin came. Then we used the crib for Dustin.

New bedding? Yup Dustin had his own bedding set!

Will/Do your kids have their own room? Curtis and Dustin share and AJ has his own.

What did moms of three kids do? AJ got his own brand new crib. His own nursery, his own bedding set. He was SPOILED! that's what happens when you really don't have to buy anything hehe, and you move in to a beautiful new bigger home. I love his nursery hehe. Dustin went into a toddler bed shortly before 2 as well though. We threw out his crib as it was recalled.

Well I'm not in this category but I thought it'd be fun to still answer.

Are you doing another nursery for you second child or did you? I would do a second nursery.
Did you buy a second crib or pass down the one you already had? I would pass down the one I already have.
New bedding? Since mine was unisex and still in great condition, I would reuse.
Will/Do your kids have their own room? Yes
What did moms of three kids do? N/A

Are you doing another nursery for you second child or did you? Edward was our mystery baby, so the theme was Care Bears...I figured they were gender neutral enough to work. But when Preston came along, he and Edward were sharing a room and since Edward was really into trains and Thomas, I bought Preston train crib bedding.
Did you buy a second crib or pass down the one you already had? Edward's crib was a convertible crib, so he was still using it. We bought Preston a used crib, but it caused the ghost in our house to become aggressive so we got rid of it. When Preston moved from our bed to his own, we bought Edward a twin bed and Preston slept in the convertible toddler bed.
New bedding? Yes, each boy got his own theme/crib bedding. Mason still sleeps with us, but his bedding will be elephants.
Will/Do your kids have their own room? Right now, Edward and Preston share, but once we get something bigger, Edward will get his own room and if there's enough room, so will Preston and Mason, otherwise, the younger two will share. If they share a room, there will be monkeys and elephants as the theme.
What did moms of three kids do? lol, see above!

Phinny got a new crib (from MIL) because Aden's crib converted to a bed. His crib doesn't convert though so we ended up getting them each a twin size bed with our tax return this year.

Baby girl will be rooming with her big sister once she is SttN. Aden has the "Love & Nature" bedding from target (which I LOVE!) and I got a toddler bed set to use in the crib when baby is big enough. DS will be moving to his own room once my sister moves out.

I am not really one for decorating nurseries or doing crib bedding sets, baby always sleeps with us for the first 6-9 months at least, so we don't really need all that stuff. I'd rather splurge on strollers and car seats LOL!
