What are you giving your DH/SO for Father's day?

We don't do big gifts so I was trying to think of something original to give Chris. Someone in my PR mentionned taking a picture of her DD holding letters to spell "DAD" last year and framing the pictures and that inspired me. Daddy is "Papa" in French so I had Julien hold a "P" and an "A" and I took pictures. I'm getting them printed on a mousepad for his office.

I'm hoping to be able to tell him I'm pregnant, that would be awesome. But since it probably won't happen I suppose I should come up with a better idea... I might have to steal yours...

Not a clue, probably a card and spend the day together doing something fun. That's what we did for Mother's Day.

I got DH a card, a onesie that says "daddy's little squirt" with a picture of a sperm lol and the Safe Baby Handling Tips book which is hilarious! I think he'll like it.

What a cute idea! Fathers day isn't until October here but I'll be getting DH a video game, not the most original idea but it' something I know he'll like.

We ordered DH the Back to the Future trilogy because he's been rambling on and on about it months. haha. I also got a card that I will have Xander scribble all over. And of course I'll cook him a special meal and let him do whatever he wants during the day.

That "papa" photo idea is so cute!

This year I want Matthew to help make something. Dh has gone fishing with Matthew a couple times but he needs a little small replacement tackle box - the one he has, has broken clasps and is rubberbanded to keep it closed.

So I got a new little tackletbox and some paint so I can write "I love you daddy" or "Matthew and daddy, fishing buddies" something like that. And since there won't be room to put his handprint on there I was going to do a couple of Matthew's thumbprints and then add a tail on there to make them look like little green fish.

Haha, "Daddy's little squirt!" That sounds like something my DH would love! He always says he wants to nickname our baby in utero, "Squirt." He goes into hysterical laughter every time we talk about it, but we'll see about that.

I won't know if we conceived this cycle by Father's Day and we don't have any other kiddos, so DH will just have to wait until next year, hehe (Hopefully!)
