Dearest Krista,
If I know you, you are probably reading this post for one of two reasons. The first -- you think you are pregnant again and, of course, are obsessing over every little twinge your body makes. Well, I'm going to make it easier for you. Instead of digging through tons of old Symptom of the Day ddc posts, I'm going to put all of your early pregnancy symptoms here in a convenient little list:
*headaches
*body aches
*general run down sick feeling
*sore throat
*veininess
*sleepiness
*cramping
Notice that list does not include that goofy "nauseated" feeling you've convinced yourself you have!
Now the second reason you might be reading this is that you are a total d-bag and you couldn't manage to hold out to Sunday to test. Now you are in shock and disbelief that you actually got a bfp after only one month of trying. I know, I know, you tried for a year last time, so it is hard to believe this has happened in one month. Guess what? Now you have to wait all the way until fathers day to tell dh. Longest. Wait. Ever. Way to go genius. It's okay, we all knew you couldn't hold out until Sunday to test. But you must, I mean MUST hold out to fathers day to tell dh. Put your big girl panties on, you can do it!
Yours always,
Krista

Update...
Apparently I couldn't find my big girl panties. I caved! I couldn't handle it anymore. I couldn't even wait through the day so I could get a baseball for him because I know he might end up working all day into the night on this darn work project! So I just told him. It went something like this:
Me: I was going to try to wait, but I can't anymore. I found out yesterday that your fathers day gift is going to be delayed.
Dh: oh?
Me: yeah. They said the estimated delivery date is February 18th.
Dh: oh wow! Okay. (in his head: this must be good! Oh it must be a computer or something. Man that's a good computer.)
Me: I knew you wouldn't get it. Honey, how many months from now is February 18th?
Dh: uhhh I don know. Not soon.
Me: babe, I'm pregnant.
Dh: omg! Omg! Bunny (Charlotte) you're going to be a big sister! Omg omg! Can I call my uncle can I call my uncle?? (he says while dancing on his feet like a five year old needing to pee)
It was too cute. He's normally not one to get excited about anything, much less flustered! He couldn't even figure out where he put his phone, which is highly unusual for this "got it all together" man. Then I had to tell him not to text his friend at 7am on a Saturday. He's SO excited. The smile didn't leave his face all morning.
I'm glad I told him. I feel much better. I blame Resi, though. She's the one who planted the seed of telling him early.

I'm trying to get a pic! But I have to use my phone, which means I have to do a mobile upload on photobucket, which requires me to email from my phone, which for sone reason isn't working right now. Of course!
I don't know how I'm going to hold out. This is going to be a looooooonnnnnnnggggggg 9 days.

I was thinking of making a gushy fathers day card and signing it "Mommy, Charlotte, Andy (the dog), and super bean". I would get some finger paint and put charlotte's hand print in it, or maybe draw cute little family stick figures on the bottom.
I was also thinking of going with the good old big sister shirt. Or maybe a "slugger" baseball theme, but I couldn't come up with something good enough for that. Any ideas? Maybe give him a baseball or baseball bat signed with all of us?
Oh and he used to play baseball a lot. Maybe the baseball bad is a cute idea. With a sweet message. And charlotte's hand print. Although I wonder if it would stay?

OMG! What a shocker! From one year of trying to one cycle of trying this time around. You better give him an early father's day present this Sunday. Tell him it's a week early because you couldn't wait! Congrats!

I got it!
I was a little worried because it is a little light for 13 dpo. Here was my bfp with Charlotte at 13 dpo:
But I know I shouldn't compare. Charlotte's was a frer, this one was an Answer and not fmu. Charlotte's wasn't fmu either, but with this one I drank a ton of water before taking it so I would need to pee, so it might be a little watered down.
Anyway, Resi don't tempt me! I might give it to him early. He has a big project he is working on, though, and of course he has to work this weekend. He never works on the weekend.

Congrats!!! I would recommend against the big sister shirt idea, we tried to do that for the ILs and they didn't notice at all, even after we specifically pointed out how cute the kids' shirts were
