The WTTC-ers on the main board have expressed a great deal of interest in having a Grad mentor.
Grad mentors would check in with their WTTC-er once a week to see how they are doing and offer any advice which may be needed about:
- dealing with baby fever
- pre-ttc weight loss
- pre-ttc healthcare
- pre-ttc exercise regime
- pre-ttc goals
- worries and concerns about ttc or pregnancy
Grad mentors could be ttc, pregnant, or BTDT moms who are wttc/ttc again.
Please state which of the above you feel you can help with then you can be matched to a suitable lady. The idea would be to do your check-ins mostly by pm though we could open a JM group for mentors and wttc-ers to chat if desired.
Please sign up here if you'd like to volunteer!

I will volunteer! I'll probably be best at baby fever, but feel free to put me down for whatever.

I would attempt to do this but am not sure I'm a good candidate. I'm a BTDT mom of 1 little girl and DH and I are comfortable with our 1 so no plans to TTC.
I could give general advice on the topics but have no experience with weight loss (I've always been a skinny gal, too skinny IMO but no luck with get to my dream goal of 125lbs and I'm almost 33) or an exercise regime. I have been swimming a few times a week for the past 2 months and am now cutting that back to once a week because I started to lose weight and I can't afford for that to happen.

Hon that would be fine, I will just pair you with someone who doesn't need weight loss advice!
Actually I have a WTTC-er who wants someone who can give a few words to the wise on TTC a girl - would that be something you'd feel happy with?

Did any of you who're BTDT moms opt for a homebirth/natural birth? I have a couple of ladies who'd like a mentor who can help with that.
That information will help me then pair people up.

If you're planning this time and are doing research, that would be ideal.
Could I be really cheeky and ask you to do a slightly different job? You're the only person who's responded positively about the home birth stuff, and I have two ladies who want someone to talk to about it. Could you maybe mentor those two specifically on this (you could have a weekly pm chat with them about it offering ideas etc) and they will both get a general mentor as well?

I would so love to do a home birth but I know Jesse isn't very enthusiastic about it. LOL. We have Tricare so we would have to pay for it ourselves since there is literally a hospital about 5 minutes away.

Right since you're both interested in home birth, whether you've had or are having one or not, I am assuming you both know a little about it and am assigning you to the two ladies who've asked cause you're the best I've got!

Thanks hon! I have no more mentees at the moment but do join the team and check the sticky occasionally in case any of the other mentors need help. You, Mars and I are all waiting for mentees at present.
