So the original plan was to wait until mid-late November. You might remember I mentioned I signed up for this half marathon and I'm supposed to be training for it. However....I'm already a bit burned out running and its only been 4 months and there are still 3 months left til the event itself. Having said that, I talked to hubby about perhaps doing a shorter race in early October that I think I could totally handle. He was all for it...and said we could start trying now if I wanted!

Um...of course my answer would be let's go!! I'm still running, but not nearly so much and I really don't think I want to push myself much past the 4 miles I'm doing right now anyway. I think 5 might be it at the most, and if my BFP doesn't show up for a few months, I'll keep trying to maintain my distance. But yay!

I still feel weird though, thinking I should be waiting. All this waiting centered around exercising and I'm sooo not the biggest exercise junkie out there.

I'm kinda glad I've started experimenting with those OPKs! According to them and fertilityfriend, sometime next week should be the sweet spot!

6 DPO means you know when you O'd and you made it! That's fabulous! I am currently driving myself nuts trying to figure out when I O. I never charted that before, and while I'm aware of CM and all, I never *really* paid attention to the whens of it all! I am testing like mad with these stupid opk's because the advice I got was to test twice a day...so I have the digitals and the line ones...and the line ones....well, there's good reason why they make digital! I get both lines, which helps, but the whole darker or lighter thing is sooo hard to tell! And one of the line bleeds...so its like...well...no? I am going to rely more on my digitals this week thank god for the smiley face!!!

Now I just need to GET a smiley face. I'm thinking it'll be somewhere towards the end of the week, though. The only chart I have to go by is the one I semi did right after my first m/c and when I got pregnant with DS. From the best of what I can tell, it was right around CD 20ish...but that was also 3 years ago.

Yah OPK's are hard with reading those lines!! That's why I never bothered... But I temp! It's a bit harder when u have a 9.5 month old! But I do my best... that's why it's good preparing and getting to know ur cycles before TTC... In my case it's a bit harder since I'm BF... Once I drop another feed I know my cycle may change. Our bodies are so complicated!!! But I like charting my temp, cm and cp. And it seems to give me a decent idea when I ovulated!
