At what age did you or will you wean your baby - and will you use shop-bought baby food or make your own?

Last time I BF for 7 months, totally regret not going for a year. With this next one I'll try to BF for a year. I'm not going to let anyone make me second guess my decision either. Which I don't think will be the case this time around since I'll be using a different pediatrician.

I will do a mix of home made and store bought baby food.

i EBF the first six months, then he intermittently had some formula mixed in, i think in 6 months we used like 4 or 5 of the little cans of nestle good start powdered formula, so not very much at all and i didn't ween him off of BFing until 18 months old. We used store bought food but i want to give it a go of making my own baby food this time around. I soooo want a Baby Bullet it's not funny
