ugh, ugh, ugh.

I'm on CD32, 19 DPO, no AF, but had AF pains since Tuesday now, feeling sick, tired, bad head, achy, greasy hair, getting spots, getting a temp, weepy and emotional, especially as Shaun and I could only spend one day together this weekend (he can't come here due to uni work but I had to come back here last night as Daniel has a party today), got a BFN on Friday so I'm not pregnant, I must just be all out of whack.

Is this what I get for taking my IUD out?? The nurse said my periods would be lighter and the doctor said I might have a couple of funny months. My mum said she was late the first month when she came off IUD before TTC my brother. I can't work out whether I'm actually ill as well or whether it's all related to this - since it wasn't a Mirena I didn't expect this, I didn't feel as grotty when I came off BCP before TTC Daniel!

I just want AF to come at the moment because I'm terrified that somehow my body isn't working right and I won't be able to get AF or therefore to conceive.

Need hugs and healing vibes and any words of advice anyone has to throw at me. Feeling so low.

Sorry girls but not up to any hosting jobs today and maybe not for a few days.

are you temping as well to know your ovulation? maybe it's delayed due to the change with the mirena coming out?

*HUGS*

I'm sure you'll be alright. They say you should always give at least one cycle after coming off any kind of birth control or device for your body to adjust. Most birth controls, even IUD's regulate you, so your body goes a little haywire when you come off.

If you don't see AF in a week go see your doctor and get a check.

I'm so sorry you are feeling unwell Are you sure you ovulated? What signs were you using to work out when you ovulated?

I'm assuming it's something to do with your body getting back insync after having the IUD taken out?

Another option could be to take another pregnancy test, but another brand. Same thing happened to my cousin, kept getting BFN's but no AF... finally used a different brand of pregnancy test and it was positive. I'd do that, then if you still haven't got AF in another few days, go visit the doc.

Healing vibes coming your way, hon xx

It WASN'T a Mirena, as I explained in post 1 - so I didn't think it would have any hormonal implications - it was the regular old-fashioned copper coil.

No I wasn't temping. I want to learn about temping this cycle. I didn't chart last cycle because DP is living away at the moment and I thought it would just cause extra heartache to pinpoint to the day when I O'd and know we weren't together on that day. However every month on O day I get a particular type of CM and cramps followed by uber-horniness so I reckon I was right.

Anyways, AF came last night so I am now on CD1. I've never been so glad to get AF!!!! Two great things about that: one is I'll now have done a whole month of folic acid before getting pregnant, the other is that CD13/14 when I'm likely to O will fall in two weekends' time. The only snag is that is one of the weekends when I am going to Shaun's and I can't normally stay all weekend because of Daniel, but am going to try and make arrangements to, as it won't fall on a weekend very often. We can't just swap it round because he has something to do on Friday which means he can't come to me.

Hopefully I'll feel less grotty after AF, today I feel sickly and crampy still but it's different - just like a normal first day of AF.

Thanks for the support/advice ladies.

yay for AF!

temping for me is stressful (because we're tta), but it's so nice to see the signs that my body is operating like I want to to. I suspect my temp to start going up, one of my ovaraies is making some protesting sounds as of today... so two days from now I should see ovulation.
