seriously, so trivial, one of the best tools is my kitchen scissors. i use them all.the.time. i use them for everything, opening stuff, cutting up chicken. i seriously don't know how i ever got along with out them. i had a set for a couple years when i moved into my apartment in phoenix but never used them. and now i can't live without them LOL. other than that my favorite kitchen tool is not a kitchen tool, but my weber grill. we grill ALL year long, rain, snow, ice. I hate cooking on the stove and the additional dishes it brings. I'm a crockpotter too if i can do it, or i do roasts in the oven. I'm a big fan of one-pot meals

OMG love my food chopper......it saves my life daily! No more dicing of veggies. I got it at my pampered chef wedding shower a few years ago!
