Just wondering what your favorite hpt's are?

I'm not enjoying the new frer, the disappearing lines are more than irritating. I'd have troubles with them in the past showing negatives when I am in fact pregnant (3 boxes of 2 with different lot numbers in 2009 showed full negatives when my beta was over 30k - I did lose the pregnancy, but from injury)

I've got to pick up some new ones tomorrow for next cycle (or this one if AF doesn't show soon) and am just looking for suggestions. I do need a new FRER box so DH doesn't know I've already used the ones I picked up , thankfully I've got a coupon. lol

I use internet cheapies for the initial test. When I get a positive than I use either First Response or Clear Blue to verify. I normally buy from Amazon because its usually ALOT cheaper than in store.

These are the cheapies I used last time and didn't get any false positives (or negatives). http://www.amazon.com/Wondfo-Pregnan...1312575&sr=8-1

Wow that's a better price than what I was going to buy from ebay! I'm tempted to order the 100 pack right now. LOL

Hmm.. now I can't decide if I want the 25ml ones or the 10ml ones!

i've only had a one other occasion to POAS other than this last cycle. I tried a store brand HPT that was the +/- style and the + didn't fully form when i was indeed preggo. Both of them in the box. the line parallel to the control line fully formed and only like a third of the line in the opposite direction formed at the very edge. I confirmed the next day with a "pregnant" on a clearblue digital. Last cycle i tested on a digi and 2 $ tree tests and got a "not pregnant" which i was expecting. I still have a digi left and i may scrounge up some change and go grab a couple more $ tree tests at the end of the week. Cross your fingers for me ladies! Baby dust won't hurt either!

I'm partial to FRERs but I've heard they aren't as good as they used to be. That being said I'm not a huge POAS addict and would only do it if I was late or something. If I was going to test early every cycle I would probably go with some internet cheapies and then use a FRER to confirm if I got a line.

I also bought a pack of internet cheapies from amazon. I can't remember the brand off the top of my head, but it was a great deal. I haven't used any yet though, so we'll see how they do.

I like FRER! But I'm also not a POASaholic I will only test early if I see an implant dip in which I wait 3 days post dip or the day AF should be due. Both times I got my BFP at 12 dpo but I tested 3 days post dip hehe if I PoAS a lot I'd probably pick up the IC!

When we were TTC, I bought IC's then backed up with an FRER and a digi.

I think i've only ever used First Response... I've only ever tested twice and was pregnant each time!

I like these: Wondfo Early Pregnancy Tests. They also have a giveaway for 20 free tests this month.

Fwiw, the 10 mIU tests can give false positives simply because some women carry 5-6 mIU of hcg in their systems at ALL times - whether pg or not. To be safe, it's best to get the 25 mIU's.
