I'm kinda boring...I'm probably going to just tell him right after I POAS, I mean he'll be awaiting an answer.

He'll be with me when we find out. But I want to do something creative with telling our families, since this will be the first grandchild on both sides. If we get pregnant before Christmas, I want to make something for each of them and have them open at the same time that says something like you're going to be a grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, etc. Haven't decided what exactly, since not sure it'll work out yet. But I've been watching lots of youtube videos and there are lots of cute ideas out there!

I think I'm going to buy him a video camera and tape the test to the box. I'm sure we'll want it when the baby comes! If I don't do that, I'll buy him something that's Red Sox for babies since he loves the Red Sox.

For our parents, I'm thinking of buying frames that mention grandparents and putting a picture of the BFP as a place holder for sonograms and then actual pictures!

I am making my son an A - Z book, with each letter being a photo of him (ie 'Aa is for All Blacks', then a photo of Jacob dressed up in All Blacks gear, 'Bb is for Blue Ball', then a photo of Jacob with his favourite blue ball etc).

I was thinking of changing out 'Bb' to 'Big Brother' and getting a photo of Jacob cuddling my belly or something, then getting the book printed and giving him that! Would take a bit of planning though, and I would have to keep my mouth shut while the book was being printed... Ha, don't see that happening!! lol!

I told DH right away lol. I started testing way way early and had some barely visible bfp's. I needed another set of eyes to confirm whether I was just crazy or whether there really were two lines there. The first few tests were so light we had to pry the test strips out of the casing and hold them up to the light. He did agree there were some light lines but I don't think he believed it until a few days later when I got 2 positive digis. So needless to say it was less than romantic/fun. If there's a next time I will think of a cute way to announce. Probably by having Claire wear a "big sister" shirt or something.
