Do you test the day AF is due? Before/after that?

I always wait until I'm a few days late before I consider testing. I want a pregnancy test to be confirming if I AM or I'm NOT pregnant, so I don't want to be trying to work out if there is or isn't a line, inverting the test etc. I just want there to be a nice strong line, showing I am indeed pregnant... I figure the only way I'll get that is if AF is well and truly late!
