We were having problems discussing boys names. He wants something that goes with Remington (reme's name).. but I'd rather something shorter and easier to say. Reme can't even say his name, let alone try and spell it. (heck, he he doesn't even say Reme right. He says Ree Mee when it's Rem e).

Khalessi isn't my first choice, I want to press for Kenna (or some variant) He doesn't like it very much though... and we both like Khalessi (would be called Callie).

My family doesn't like Kenna either. It was my first choice for a girl, until I mentioned it to my aunt... who then gave it to her daughter as a middle name *sigh* way to steal how I want to honor my dad huh? so that leaves me with Scotia and Scotlyn..... Everyone says I should use Scotia since I'm from Nova Scotia. LOL (which means New Scotland).. so really either work!

Boys names seem so much harder than girls. We've had a girls name chosen for years--I really really hope I get to use it! He doesnt want to acknowledge that this may be a boy

I feel the opposite way. I have a 7-10 name concrete list for boys where the list of girls is anywhere from 10-14 names I really really like. I think naming a girl will be harder. The only saving grace I have going for me is the first girl will probably be named after my mom so I won't have much choice in the matter

LOL. I have been FORBIDDEN from naming a baby after my mother. She despises her names (Carolyn Olive) and made me promise when I was like 8 that I'd never use either one. I do like the name Olivia though, but I think she'd let me get away with that.

I've always had a list of names, and so far DH has shot them all down. They're either too short, too old fashioned or too "hells no". lol.
