How did you do today?

I did legs/strength training. Maybe not the best idea since my knees are hurting but its done. Tomorrow is back and shoulders I think. Eating is ok. Nothing major to write home about .

Good for you!!
I took my kids to town and that elevated my blodd pressure enough!! SHeeesh..
So far I have done no exercise but I have eaten good.. I even resisted MCdonalds fries.. to bride the kids with.. pretty good eh??

Way to go. I love french fries.
I am hurting so much right now. Weight training while good for burning fat hurts ALOT. But I worked out so that is the key. Just got to keep going. We got this.

Good for you!! No pain no gain,,, right??

I am going fishing with hubby this afternoon.. and instead of taking tonnes of snacks.. since we don't have the kids with us.. I won't take any.. I will be bored so otherwise I d just eat them all

Ill eat just before I go.. and then when we get back... And I ;; read// I am really looking forward to it.. I sooo need time away from the kids.. I am so burnt out!

I hope you had fun with hubby fishing. Relaxing is good too. I did my work out this morning and that helped a ton for my legs. I am going to workout tomorrow too and be done for the week wohoo. If only I could figure out a better eating habit.

Oh gosh last week sucked.
I am back on track and worked out tonight. Pushed myself hard but only did 25 min. It was a good sweat though and hopefully will get me going again. I think it was my bcp making me sluggish and crappy feeling. So I think I am finally getting past that. Stopped taking them last week.
How did you do over the holiday weekend? Today?

Seriuosly I have been a fraid to come on here.. I am really struggling

My weight is up.. and Iam just frusterated.. I did not want to drag you down or sound like a whiner ..

I did keep checking back to see how you were doing though.!!

You will get there. Its like I told my sister tonight. Don't worry about yesterday you can't change it. Just get up today and make a promise to your self that you will do it. One way or another you are going to get back on the wagon. My weight is sucking right now. But I am going to try to keep pushing forward and get on the workout wagon. You can do this. Go Team Go!

Awww thanks

As of tonight I am 155!! Frusterating..
But tomorrow is a new day..
I will be going for a bike ride int he morning to buy peppers for my lunch
Then I just need to not snack between lunch and supper.. and then eat sensibly for supper.. no bbqing hamburgers for me.. like today!!

And NOOO finishing kids leftovers.. Sooo bad... I m ean who does that.. lol

hi! Are you guys sure you don't mind me crashing here?

I'm Jess (35). I live in Huntsville, AL. I have been married for almost 11 yrs and we have 2 boys. Zach 4 and Cody 15 months.

I did WW in the past and lost almost 25 lbs but once I stopped doing that the weight came back on. I also have PCOS so that makes weight loss really slow. I am about to switch my dosage of metformin so hopefully that will help.

I do like to run in the cooler weather so running in the summer time does not happen here!

I do have a gym membership but I seem to find a lot of excuse not to go. I also have the Instanity DVDs that I need to start.

DS#2 has been sick all week so I haven't done anything exercise wise.

Welcome Jess .
Once you get started and get a routine you will be great I am sure.

Ester snacking is good. If you eat a healthy snack between breakfast and lunch and lunch and dinner its better than just three meals a day. Eat 5-6 mini meals a day. It keeps your metabolism going.

I did my work out this morning and while I am tired its a different kind of tired. not the sluggish tired I was yesterday. I love doing morning workouts but this week isn't good for them. Next week will be better though .

How did you ladies do for working out today? Any movement even 15 min is better than none at all .

To be honest snacking is what does me in.. even if it is an apple or other healtly low cal.. snack its does not work//
The only thing that does work if I can keep it up is just the 3 meals with no less than 5 hours in between.. Its a whole new way of thinking.. I learned about it from sureslim..
Has to do with insulin levels and how the body burns fat..

My problem is I started with the no 5 hour rule and it worked great.. but then I read more and more about snacking and small meals etc.. and thats when I fell off the bandwagon about 3 months ago...
I just need to go b ack to what worked for me.. Its hard though.. when I am used to the other way..

I biked today but I was 1/2 hour from home and I got a flat!! My sis was will me thank goodness so she biked hom enand picked me up.. but I had to sick on teh side of a busy road with two kids.. for 1/2 hour!!! Yikes..

and its HOT here

It's hot here too. I can take the heat but the humidity kills me! I am so looking forward to the cooler weather of fall but I have atleast 12 wks of this oppressive heat left.

My down fall is finishing what the kids don't eat. Especially those pesky chicken nuggets.

I need to back off the caffine a little bit too. I don't have sodas everyday but I do have them if we go out to eat. Well that's been a lot lately and I have noticed on the days I don't get caffine I get bad headaches. I went to a mexican place tonight for dinner and had 2 sodas and now I cannot fall asleep. Caffine never used to bother me like this before.

So between the baby being sick and the caffine, I am hardly getting sleep!

Ester sorry you got a flat. Glad you got out there though.
Jess working out can help you sleep .

I did an extra work out last night. I was feeling anxious it helped to calm me down. I am back up to 164, I think that 158 was a fluke thing or something. But on a good note my thighs are 2 inches smaller and my body fat % according to my scale is down .4%. So seems that things are changing just not the overall number very much.
Have you ladies done measurements?

No i have not done measurements yet. I know that they say that is a better way to track your progress than the scale though.

It is going to be a HOT day here so I am not sure what we are doing today. Cody's fever seems to be gone but I want to keep him inside for another day just to be on the safe side.

I am at my mom's in Cincinnati all week so I don't have access to my workout stuff but I am getting a good workout from running up the stairs all the time.

she was the wii fit that I might give a try! Have you guys used a wii fit?

I have a wii fit. I like it ok but don't use it alot.

I am restarting my slim in 6 program Monday so I think that will help. I am also working on food. I have stuck to the work outs now time to tackle my bad eating habits. Baby steps.
Weight Loss Goals and Achievements I posted some before and during pictures of the last three months if you ladies want to see how I am doing. My weight is stuck hence the food tackle but my body is changing.
