A good friend at work is pregnant with her 2nd child - first was a girl, this one's a boy. She's taken a new job and is leaving us too. So I want to do a baby shower and goodbye party combo of sorts. She does our marketing, and she's pretty classy - she's given a couple of showers lately, mine and another friend, and went all-out, I want to do the same for her. So I need ideas...something inexpensive but thoughtful. She has craved Italian food a lot this pregnancy, I named the baby "Mario" a while ago, so I was thinking of going down that road, but I dunno.

Ideas, please?!!

You could have a bring a frozen Italian dish for after the baby party.
You know how people make and freeze a dish for the new parents to eat so they dont have to cook stuff. just heat and serve. Or you could have a little get together at an italian restraunt for the little canolli LOL

Did you need ideas about what to do for like games? You can play the poopy diaper game with the melted chocolate bars- that one is fun!

What kind-of ideas did you need?

I guess that's the problem, I'm not sure what kind of ideas I need! Maybe some non-traditional shower ideas? It will be mostly women but at least 1 man...

I've heard of ones where everyone brings diapers.

I do love the poopy diaper game!!
