What are your plans this weekend?

We're having dinner tomorrow night with some friends of ours, Saturday evening we're meeting up with our Young Marrieds group from church for an International Night... we're having dinner at the home of the couple in our group who are from Iran, and they are making persian food! Sunday morning is church, and all the rest of the time this weekend will be spent reconnecting as a family. It's been a busy week in our house, and we need some time together.

That sounds like a really fun evening! I love it when people are so open about sharing their food/culture like that. We had a couple at my family's church from Israel, and they hosted a dinner for the Bible Study one evening. It was a lot of fun! (I was in high school at the time)

We have a busy weekend. Today is just a PJ day because it is Jonah's first day off school since Monday. I asked him what he wants to do (thinking the zoo, or new aquarium) and he told me he wants to watch TV I'll let him watch a little bit, but probabl not as much as he wants LOL! Tomorrow we are going with my sister and her family to a library event. Zoe from Sesame Street is going to be there, and they have all sorts of crafts and story times, and each kid gets to pick out a free book! My mom's work sponsored the book giveaway, and she said they are actual hard cover and board books, not the usual cheap-o free book. Then on Sunday there is a super bowl "commercial" party that we were invited to, but if we can't find a sitter than we won't go. This is the group that stopped inviting us to things because even when they *say* it's okay to bring the kids, it's really not. We're the only ones who have kids. Which sucks, because we MET because of this group, but whatever. I'm making a new recipe a friend gave me for buffalo chicken dip, regardless of if we go! It would be a good pot luck dish, but also a good "stay at home and watch the super bowl" lunch/snack.

I'm also going to start getting ready for our vacation. We have one week today to get ready!

Well, all we had planned was housecleaning & grocery shopping on Satn and host a Super Bowl party Sun. But then Dominic was sick Wed and Thur and Ella got it just before midnight last night. So now I've got a sinking feeling that part - if not most of it - will be spent with either DH or I - or both of us - being sick. God, I hope not!!

Cara, this recipe is like buffalo wings in dip form. I can't wait to try it! It's funny though, some girl posted it in my FB HEALTHY recipe swap group LOL Not so healthy, hun! I'm glad she did though!

I hope the sick bug leaves your house quickly and skips over you and your DH!!!

Today - Music Together class, then a play date

Saturday - I'm hoping to sleep in, then we need to run errands (go to Costco, etc)

Sunday - watch Super Bowl and hang out

Tonight - I'll probably hang out at my Mom's until DH gets off work, probably have dinner.

Saturday - Cleaning, laundry, finishing packing my hospital bag, hopefully going out with DH for our last date night before baby #2 arrives.

Sunday - grocery shopping, deep cleaning, Super bowl watching, and preparing everything for baby before my induction on Wednesday.

We're having my best friend, her common law hubby and their kids over for dinner tomorrow. Sunday DH is doing a brake job on my van and I'm going to hang out with a good friend. I'll also do some cleaning and laundry too.

Not much, since I'm still sick. It's been over a month now. My mom and stepfather came to help, and I think they're taking the kids to the park. DH is working tomorrow. He'll probably go to a friend's for SBS.

Lisa, I'm so sorry you're still sick!! Are you turning a corner at all yet? Jackie, I'm SO EXCITED that Charlotte is going to be here on Wednesday! How are you feeling about things? Nervous? Okay? Excited? Can't wait to see your pictures!

I volunteered to stay at the fire house so that DH could go to our Godson's wrestling tournament this weekend. I've been up here, by myself, since Thursday evening. I miss my boys (esp Leo) as this is the longest I've ever been away from him. I've taken one long bath, crocheted, played around on the computer, just about caught upon Bones season 6 (will finish tonight). I also go to go snow shoeing and cross country skiing with one of our friends up here. Tomorrow I am going home to see my boys and watch the commercials during the game.

I actually had the opportunity to leave tonight, but talked with DH and think that it is really good for me to have this time alone. I haven't been truly by myself for more than one daytime since before we had Leo.
