She was born on Tuesday, 1-31-12 weighing 5lbs 13oz and was 18 inches long. My water broke that morning and we headed off. I had to get started on some pitocen because contractions died down but it wasn't too bad in the beginning. I had the epi put in and Emma was here pretty soon after that, born at 5:59 pm. She is sooo tiny and my smallest baby yet. We are breastfeeding. (First for me) It's going pretty well so far.

Adorable! Congrats, mama!
On another note, how weird was it to change a baby girl after seeing boy parts for so many years? I know when I changed my friend's daughter one day it was just really odd seeing girl parts under that diaper

OMG! I thought the same thing! It took me a good couple of days to get used to it and I still have moments here and there where I take the diaper off and think that she is missing something. LOL
Also, totally random but I was really exhausted on our second night home. Emma was up from 2-7am that night eating at least every hour and falling asleep each time. I would change her diaper and get her settled and then it would start over again. Weeeeeell, in the process I said something along the lines of, "Come on, son! Mama is sleepy." hahahaha I instantly caught it and was like I can never tell dh about that. I also called her Alex that night too! She looks just like him!
