Never had them, but I find them kinda creepy

Had them. Thought they were the coolest thing EVER until I learned what makes them jump. Now, creepy. Very, very creepy. Bleh.

Yeah I had some and thought they were kind of cool. They are creepy to me now that I know what they are! Ew. lol

Jenna!!! Any type or larva creep me out! I can't believe my parents actually got them for me knowing my phobia. I have terrible parents!

Ranee, they're sometimes called Mexican jumping beans as well. They're like a seed pod and they have larvae inside for a moth. When you hold them and they warm from your skin contact, the larvae start moving around inside, so the beans jump.

Hah I had some when I was a kid! My stepdad bought them for when one day when we were going fishing... we stopped to buy worms and they had these mexican jumping beans for sale in a plastic container thing. Good memory... yuck now though.
