I'm going to a Valentine's day party, and every child there is supposed to receive a valentine from the other children. There are going to be about 30 kids.

Does anyone have ideas for cute, cheap and most of all, easy to make valentines? I was thinking of these:

But I'm not sure yet. I also like origami hearts, but I don't know what I'd put inside. I'm also not sure if I need to make 90 valentines so each of my kids has one to give to the other kids, or if it's ok to have one from all, which is of course what I'd rather do! Do you think that would be ok?

Lily made these friendship rings for her friends: Let Friendship Ring | Valentine's Day Card Ideas | FamilyFun

She did all different colors though, they were super easy to make together and went fast.

I'd probably do one Valentine from each child, because I'd assume that they are each going to get an individual one from everyone else.

That's really cute Shelley! Miss Lily is very talented to be able to make those! However, candy has been banned from the exchange.

Oh, I helped with parts of it! They were pretty easy though.

I like the heart flakes you posted for a non-candy idea though! Or origami hearts and put in a little piece of paper with a wish for them or something? Like a fortune cookie slip?

Pinterest is the place to go for ideas!! I'm doing an owl themed baby shower for a friend this month, so I came across a few owl valentine's in the process of looking for decoration ideas. I think they are super cute!

I'd probably feel like each kid should give a Valentine unless you think the other moms plan to give just one Valentine to your sib-set instead of an individual Valentine for each.

I am doing tie-dyed heats with my class on Tuesday. Get a coffee filter and cut into a heart. Fold it like you were going to make a snow flake and then use bingo dotters and "color" the filter. Unfold and let dry.

If you make them home-made then I can see just making one from all of your kids.

If store-bought, I would be more likely to 'expect' one from each of your kids.
