What art and crafts supplies do you have at home? what do you think are importantant ones to keep on hand?
My list looks long, but she doesn't go to preschool so I feel like I need to do a lot with her and she LOVES doing projects about more than anything!

This is what I have currently (that I am not out of!):
Scrapbook paper
Construction paper
Stickers
School glue
Glue sticks
String
Beads
Sheets of colored foam
Foam stickers
Finger paints and water colors
Paint brushes and sponges
Chalk
Tissue paper
Bag of die-cuts that neighbors does for us on her Cricket
Crayons, markers and colored pencils
Bingo dobbers
Safety scissors

List of what I am out of or want to add to my supplies (that I can think of right now):
Popsicle sticks
Googly eyes
Glitter
Glitter glue
Pom poms
Felt
Fabrics
Yarn
Buttons
Pipe cleaners

We do a good amount of crafts I guess. Here's the list of what I currently have:

Scrapbook paper
Construction paper
Stickers
Glue (white glue and glitter)
Glue sticks
Foam stickers
Finger paints and water colors
Paint brushes and sponges
Chalk
Tissue paper
Crayons, markers and colored pencils
Safety scissors (the Melissa & Doug set, which has a regular one and then one with decorative edging)
Felt
Glitter
Stamps
Fabric
Yarn
Pipe cleaners
Buttons
Sewing machine (with major supervision, I let Lily sew little things sometimes)

Need to add:
Popsicle sticks
Googly eyes
Pom poms
Bingo dobbers
She wants to crochet like me, but my hooks are too big for her hands - I'd like to get her smaller ones, but not sure they make "kid" sized ones

We don't do a ton of art... Josiah isn't that interested. His big interests are music and cooking/baking in the kitchen.

Here is what we do have:
Coloring books
Do A Dot markers
Crayons
Sidewalk Chalk
Watercolor paints
Stickers
scrapbooking papers in different prints
blank fold over cards
rubber stamps
stamp pads in various colors
glue sticks

We have an entire section of our attic devoted to arts and crafts, including two cabinets full of supplies:
pipe cleaners
pom poms in every shape and color
pony beads
foam stamps
rubber stamps
stamping ink
foam texture paint brushes
fat handled pant brushes
regular paint brushes
loofahs
bubble wrap
cylindrical food containers (for stamping circles)
poster paint
regular paint
finger paint
color wonders colorless paint
construction paper
finger painting paper
printer paper
large roll of "butcher" paper
chalk
about 100 boxes of crayons
several kinds of markers
modeling clay
googly eyes
popscicle sticks
various old magazines (for cutting out letters and pictures for collages)
scissors
sponge tipped paint brushes
jingle bells
elmer's glue
glitter (unwanted)
five containers of different shaped self adhesive foamies
various items that can be recycled into art projects like coffee cans, egg cartons etc.
pie tins for holding paint
aprons to put over clothes
plastic tablecloths to put over surfaces and floors

That is what I can remember away from home. I am sure that is only about half. We do a lot of art projects! Almost daily, even when he is at school

Wow Jess, you have a lot of crafts! I'm surprised you still have glitter

We have pretty much all of the aforementioned (prior to Jess's post, I don't have a lot of those items), although I need to make another run to the crafts store for paint. I also have a lot of felt, but not so much for the girls as for me, I like to make stuffed, stitched flowers and critters. I had to put everything in a cabinet with child proof locks on it, so that we do not have another glitter incident.
