Lisa, I had the option of T/Th or M/W/F 9-noon. It was a no brainer for us... I work T/Th mornings 9:30-11:30, so by having him go those two days, I eliminate my need for childcare! Plus, he has been taking Music Together on Wednesday mornings and LOVES his teacher, so I really wanted him to be able to continue with that. The year after, we will have the option of a preschool 4's and 5's class, or a pre-k class. Both have identical curriculums and prepare the kids equally well for kindergarten. The difference is that the preschool class is for the more kinisthetic learners who do best with hands on activities and lots of movement. The pre-K does more sit-down table work. At the end of his first year of preschool, the director will meet with us and recommend which class she thinks would be best for him. I already know he'll be with the kinisthetic learners

The second year, we'll have the option of 2, 3 or 5 days a week. I'm planning on continuing with just two days a week. I want as much time with him at home as possible before he is gone on a daily basis! Good luck making your decision, Lisa!
