Wow, coming here brings back so many emotions and I hope & pray to see many more ttcal ladies posting here in the future, hopefully sooner than later.

Anyway, I just wanted to quickly post that my baby boy is here. He is almost 4 weeks old now.

After three very early losses, God has blessed us with success. After the second loss, a doctor discovered my blood clotting disorder (protein S deficiency). This only manifested as a problem with pregnancies. She said I would need to be on Lovenox for subsequent pregnancies. She felt I should start it with a positive pregnancy test, but I felt my losses were so early that this would be too late. We did not agree. I had a third loss. I went to a specialist that listened to me and prescribed the meds. my visit with him happened to be 3 dpo. I was able to start the Lovenox and progesterone also as a precaution. I didn't know if I was pregnant or not, but requested a quantitative beta at 10 dpo because I knew our getting pregnant record was pretty good, but sometimes hcg levels would not go high enough to show up on a home pregnancy test. Well, the beta revealed a pregnancy and all was well. We now have a son. It was scary of course, being pregnant after loss. Day by day and lots of prayer was helpful.
