Hi everyone, I guess I should start by introducing myself. My name is Tammy, and I'm been coming to JM for a long time now, but on other boards. I thought I would come pop in over here. :>) I have a little boy named Parker who just turned 3. He is our little IVF miracle. We just did our second round yesterday! They put in 2 embryos, and now I'm just praying and keeping my fingers crossed.

I was wanting to talk to others who have gone through the same thing. My doctor told me that the chances of this working are about 30%, so it's kind of discouraging. How many of you have done it a second time, with frozen embryos?? Did it work the first time? How many rounds did you have to do?

And also, my Dr. has me on bed rest. I can walk around a little, but he wants me laying around for the most part. But then a friend of mine who went through IVF was told that getting your blood flowing a little will help the embryos, and NOT to lay around all day. What have you heard? What did you do?

I'm following my Drs orders.......I know I'm being silly, but I'm so paranoid that any movement will knock them loose, and they won't stick!! LOL

I would love to talk with anyone else who's been through this. Thanks!!!

Welcome!! I'll be doing my first FET this summer, but my dr is really optimistic. He didn't give me a success percentage and i'm not sure I want to know it .

After our fresh cycle transfer, he just had me "lay low" for the day of and then just gave me some basic restrictions - no strenuous activity, no lifting over 15lbs, no vacuuming, etc. He didn't say to stay laying down, but didn't want me to do much either. now for this FET, I plan to keep my butt planted on the couch for the next 3 - 5 days and not move much!!!! last time one of the little beans crawled up too far . I don't think it's anything I did wrong, but I sure want to try to prevent it from happening again!

Just wanted to wish you luck. I just transferred 2 embryos a few days ago and was on bedrest for 3 days. I'm still taking it pretty easy and DH is doing most of the housework and cooking for me. I hope by now you have rec'd good news!!! I am trying to keep my head up too. I was originally given a 10% chance of success and they didn't even think I'd get any eggs that would make it to transfer day. Well I had 2 make it and both put back in, so he upped my chances to 25-30%. I am trying to just imagine a positive outcome!!! Good luck.
