I actually was given the option of PIO or Endometrium for my 12 weeks. (From ER to ET i have to be on PIO though).

What do you ladies prefer?

Is on more convenient or easier then the other?

I hate needles and i ALWAYS bruise from IM shots, so thats what i am the most worried about (Running out of places to bruise myself lol)

Well i am doing both.. i start taking the vaginal ones along with the injections.. the vaginal stops the moring of my transfer.. it softens and relaxs the uterus!

i think i am going to like injections alot better..

My RE prefers PIO, but will allow the other options if the patient has issues with the IM shots. I did PIO during my first cycle, and it wasn't too bad -- DH did all of my shots. This time the plan is PIO again, although I will have to do a couple of the shots myself, so I'm a bit freaked out about that. The SubQ shots are easy for me to do, but the butt ones are SCARY!

I've never done PIO, the suppositories are annoying as heck (you leak 24/7, gross), but honestly I think I'm okay with that, given that it avoids big needles in my butt!!

Same here! I feel the same way about the leaking but totally worth it! I asked if it was OK do the suppositories and my RE said it was OK!

I have had success with the suppository and it is not that bad. It does not leak out if you lay daown or sit for about 20 minutes after inserting it.
