Ok, this seems a little ridiculous, but I just had the Lupron inj yesterday and last night and today I can barely stay awake. I literally wanted to go to bed for the night yesterday at 4pm. Now it could have been the stress of the morning, but it happened again today. I have been yawning all afternoon. Due to events and my work, I have to stay up but I easily get 8 hours a night. Did anyone else experience this strong of sleepiness this soon, or at all?

Thanks ~

I am very sleepy on the lupron. I sleep an extra hour or two a night. Although its not until the evening when I get tired. I also get really emotional when I first start taking it. Lots of crying and feeling really down. (This is my second time taking lupron - first time my IVF cycle was canceled). Last time all the over-emotional lasted only a few days. I am hoping it's the same this time.

Ohh so the sleepiness i have is lupron? Well then theres my 2nd side effect! LOL I am downright exhusted tonight.

Trick for Progesterone shot -- use 25 gauge needle (I just ordered a ton. If anyone needs any needles, let me know! The ox i ordered has 100). warm up PIO while in needle in a heating pad for 30 seconds. Put a heating pad on the injection site for 5 minutes. Inject warm PIO. Immeditly put heating pad back on injection site for 15 minutes and rub.

See if that helps :-)

It looks like I'm stirring up a dead post but just wanted to say this is good to know because I will be starting Lupron tonight.

Just an update...a really wise woman told me that once my AF starts my symptoms from the Lupron will get better...Exactly what happened for me. Getting more sleep and I have great energy.
