Questions......

So I feel dumb asking but...................I have the orders to get the HIV and Hepatitis blood work done, do they have to be done on a certain day of my cycle or can DH and I go anytime to have these done????

I know the FSH and estradoil have to be done on CD3 but I wasn't sure about the other ones.

ALSO how long did those of you stay spotting after having the HSG done??? I had mine done on Monday and had some spotting but now it seems like there's more and its a brighter red. I am worried that my body is acting up, my last cycle was only 16days long (I went through this 6yrs ago when we conceived Aiden) and that is what this cycle is looking like too

I am waiting to hear back from my Dr here who did the HSG to see if I need to contact the DR doing the IVF. I am so anxious and scared though

I don't want this to become a problem and they are going to make us wait longer to start the process.

The HIV bloodwork can be done any day of the cycle!!!

With my Lap.. i spotted for a certain amount of days.. and then i had like a full blown AF.. the reason my DR gave me was because they were poking around and checking endometrium... which is your lining.. i HOPE THIS HELPS!!!

When I was waiting to do my CD3 FSH.. i had to take provera to start my period.. but then that didnt work.. so i had to have a Progestrone shot done!! It started the next day!!

Leslie, Thank you, it makes total sense BUT

I am still so lost!!!! Since I am waiting for AF to show to do my CD3 FSH, if I start to bleed more do I have my bloodwork done on day 3 of my full on bleed??? If this cycle were NORMAL I should be Oing today, and I did an OPK and BARELY any 2nd line (even though I KNOW I shouldn't go by that). But the latest I have ever Oed was on CD18 which should be on Friday I am usually a CD16 Oer

that sounds funny, but you all know what I mean.

I am so lost and my DR hasn't called back yet

The CD3 bloodwork is done on the 3rd day of your full period. You count your period when you have a full RED flow. Not brown or any other color. If you think you might be having a period, have your doctor run the tests just in case on the 3rd day.

As for th tests:

FSH -- which tells us about your eggs. This number should be below 10. Under 6 is ideal.

Estridol or E2 - Measures the functioning of the ovaries. On day 3, this number should be below 100.
