Good morning ladies! I meet with my nurse today to get my calendar. I do know that I start with bc tomorrow and lupron next friday. And that a tenative date for retrieval will be Aug 21. WOOHOOO! I am getting excited!
The appointment went well. I sure am glad she had it all mapped out on a calendar for me. There sure are a lot of shots to remember. LOL
bcp july 17-30
lupron 10 units july 24-aug7
lupron 5 units aug8-19
follistim 225 starting aug 9
menopur 75 starting aug 9
baby aspirin starting aug 9.
Do you have to take Zithromax or Methylprednisolone? Or anything else? And can I tell you that the only thing I dread about this whole process is the Endometrium after the transfer?!!! Man that stuff is nasty! LOL

be thankful for the Endometrium!! i had to take PIO shots my last two ivfs instead of getting the endo this time. those are not fun..i'd take nasty over 1.5 inch needles any day. LOL
Ladies, remember that you need to have some flexibility with these plans! Last year my first retrieval was to be a coupe days before my birthday. Guess here my birthday was spent. It was a good day though. Your drug doses may vary or extend a day or two. But having the guideline in hand helps SO much with morale!!
Aria does have a point some peoples schedules can change, mine never have my IVF's go like clock work for me. This time we are playing it a little by ear so we'll see but for the most part your shedule shouldnt be off by more than a day or two if that.
Excellent point. I always refer to the date as tentative, as anything can change. We have learned to be flexible with the dates when on the shots and IUI's in the past.
