Hello all - I have never had an issue with sleeping! But ever since I started taking YAZ bcp, I've had crazy dreams and I wake up every night and stay awake for several hours. I've searched side effects and see nothing about insomnia. I was thinking of calling my RE, but thought I may sound crazy?

Has anyone experienced insomnia with bcp before?

This is driving me crazy...which DH would say that is a short trip! LOL

I've never experienced insomnia while on BCP. It might just be your excitement/nerves about the upcoming IVF. I know if something is on my mind alot and I wake up in the middle of the night, that's the first thing I think of and forget about falling back to sleep for atleast an hour!!! Some people take Melatonin to help them sleep. Ask your RE about it. Might help, but I don't know if you can take it while taking the injectables. Hope you get some sleep soon!!
