I am finally after ALL these weeks, pacing the floor. I've been pretty calm and stressfree but now it is hitting.
I have NO idea if IVF worked or not. The only physical signs I get are the cramping and breast growth and nausea. But the suppositories of Crinone are supposedly doing that. And mimic pregnancy - the effects of it do.
Is there any way I would know if it NOT worked? Do the embryos disappear on own, without a trace? Or any signs that it DID work? Do I bleed if embryos didn't take? Or is there no sign?
Heh! I sound like a hot mess. I am not going to POS because I was urged not to by, doctor. I've gone this far so I may as well wait.
I have been very relaxed and not running around at work. Usually it's 16 hours of running around on set but I've been good. (I freelance on movies and tv shows. Sometimes a job is a year for me in another country, sometimes a three day commercial...whatever. My husband is in same business.)
I've done less hours and sleep my eight hours. I drink my water. Go to acupuncture.
I've slowed down because we want this so badly. Now it is time to find out. Tomorrow. It's a blood test, right? Do they also do a sonogram?
Listen to me. I AM a hot mess. I can't believe these words are coming from me. I am normally mellow and calm but god, now that it is down to the wire, I am curiously hyper and wondering everything about what to expect.
Thanks for reading.
Betsy

no there really isnt a way to tell unless you take a pregnancy test. the progesterone mimics all signs of pregnancy and even if you arent pregnant you might not spot..and if you are pregnant you might spot..so it really goes either way.
the embryos will reabsorbed by your body if they did not implant.
If you have a positive blood test they will usually do your first ultrasound around 6 weeks which would be 2 weeks from tomorrow.

Thanks you guys. One moment I feel like, "YEAH!" The next, I am filled with tension.
I went for a nice walk, here in Brooklyn in Marine Park. It was a perfect evening - weather wise.
Thanks for your support. Fingers and toes crossed. You're all really amazing ladies.

I gave blood early this am. Waiting by phone now.
Can you BELIEVE I turned on tv last night and FRIENDS was on. The episode where Rachel takes HER test at Monica's wedding? And she was positive?
THEN? Project Runway. PREGNANCY OUTFIT CHALLENGE.
THEN? After that, I saw an old talk show on cable and they were testing HPT's.
WHAT THE?
I obviously didn't sleep. I just could not sleep a wink. After the blood was taken I drive home to Brooklyn in the worst rain storm and took a nap. A very restless one.
Now I am here. Waiting. Nails are bitten.
Jeez.

Well. I just realized WHY I was a hot mess....
....
....
YES, WE DID!
Something about a 280 level and going in on Monday for a follow up check up. I don't know. My mind was so foggy. And I DID drop the phone.
We are over the moon.
Thank you for following this roller coaster.
I love you, ladies.
Love,
Betsy

I have also been crampy on and off yesterday and today so that is discouraging me a bit but I am tryng to stay postivie.
I hope I make it to my beta test next Thursday fingers crossed!
