Hi I haven't been on here for a while now but I am starting back up with my fertility doctor in January and I was wondering how long is the whole IVF process?
I don't know the correct answer to this but I think it depends on what protocol your doctor uses. My doctor is using a short protocol for me. I should be able to have my IVF done in December which is really fast. I think most gals use the long protocol and I am not sure how long that takes. I know the experts will come over here and answer you.
For me, the whole process was about 8 weeks (I did an extra month of BCP at the start...you can see my schedule in my siggy). It can be shorter depending on your protocol, but I'd say I was an average case.
