Hi Ladies! I'm officially in the countdown to IVF. I'm going to rely heavily on your expertise over the next few weeks.

Here's our tentative plan:
Next week: meet with pharmacist and pay for everything
March 3rd (cycle day 21 of this cycle) ~ start Suprefact
March 16 - baseline u/s and start injectibles
March 19 - ? - Blood work and u/s every other day
April 1 ~ tentative retrieval
April 4 - 6 ~ tentative transfer.
April 14th (or so) ~

I'm doing what I can to stay positive that this will work!

I wasn't really feeling it about this cycle anyway so it's so awesome that I don't have to worry about it anymore! I told my Mom all about it last night and she's very supportive (of course, IVF = grandbaby).

My SIL wanted me to go down to OH for my niece's dance recital and special guest day at kindergarten this spring and I had to say no due to cost. Now my Mom is looking for ways to pay it for me! Yesterday was such a good day! I've got so much to look forward to in the next 8 weeks!

Hi Kimberley, We've chatted in the ttc w/ma board. So welcome to IVF. Your plan of action was exactly my plan of action when we did IVF last year. I know some girls go on birth control first but I went on suprefact as well.

Good luck to you and it is very exciting that you have dates to start! We have finished all my prelim testing I had to do again, the AFC, SIS and HSG and now waiting to get into Burnaby. Calgary was too long of a waiting list since we don't live there but Burnaby is only about 3 months so hopefully we will get in soon, plus we have a lot of family there so we can stay with them. And we will actually do all the prelim drugs and u/s here and just go to Burnaby for the retrieval and the implantation.

Anyways.....Congrats on your new plan and you are this much closer to getting a BFP and bringing home a baby...or two...or three

Michelle - we were pretty lucky to get our IVF so quickly. We went on the waiting list in Nov. and did our orientation class in January.

You may want to also check out the clinic in Victoria. My friend is going there in a couple of weeks for her IVF. They don't have any waiting lists - but they are private and their costs are higher.

Hey Kimberly..i was lurking on ttc by ivf..we are going to do it as well! it looks as if we will be on pretty close cycle buddies..Im waiting on af now so i dont have my calendar yet..but my RE is predicting my beta to be around the 19th of April..if af comes on time! Good luck to you! ill be following your story! (that is if you dont mind )
