Hi everyone.

I have recently been accepted into a clinical trial for ivf. I started my BCP already and will start my lupron on 5/14 and stims on 5/19. It's such a daunting process to begin IVF. I have had a couple of cycles of injects but this will be the first time for any IM injections.

I agree it is daunting. I'm Sarah and I'm due to have my scan and start my injections for IVF on 21. May

Hi Sarah. I have my baseline for stims on May 19th. We are right there together.
Is this your first time with IVF?

It is. We've been ttc for nearly 3 years. I had 6 months of clomid last year and a lap in january. Nothing seems to be wrong with either I or DH. It's nice to meet someone in the same boat at the same time. We can compare notes. What's your story?

I had a tubal ligation when I was 27, after my second child. My marriage ended a few years later and my fiance doesn't have any children of his own, so I had surgery to have my tubes reattached. It doesn't appear to be successful after nearly 3 years of trying for us as well.

I'm so glad to have someone who is nearly in the same place I am!!!!

Hi,
My name is Holly and I am new here. My husband and I are starting IVF for first time too. I am on BCP now and start Lupron shots May 27. The other shots, May 29. Baseline ultrasound and blood on the 24th. The whole procedure is a bit overwhelming for me and my husband. I have low AMH levels and today was told that makes our chances lower. A bit frusterating! I hope everyone gets their wish!!!

Good luck ladies. I got a BFP yesterday after my first cycle of IVF. The whole process was a lot less scary than I thought. The retrieval was fine, sore for a couple days but that was it. The transfer was nothing. It was just hard to veg out and do nothing for a couple days after the transfer because I felt fine!
