My Update, plese tell me what to do....
I was about to start my 2nd stim cycle will I went to the Clinic last Tuesday, I got my menses and was looking forward to this. They found a cyst, she says it was a follicle left behind. I can not start the stims and was given Aygestin 5 mg 2X a day. They sayed when I ovulate this cyst will only get bigger and we have to be clean to start. The side effects of his med are really scary. I was so clean , my tubes, my ovaries, this is all a result of the first round of the stims like Lupron
Anyone that has been down this road, what can I expect? Feeling very lost

If you are prone to cysts, it happens, and it happens whether you are on stims or not. But NO RE I know will go ahead if you start with a cyst, at least neither of mine would.

I have Never had one. I was completely clean. Ovaries, tubes, the entire system. This was caused by the stims. So Unfair! I am hoping and praying that this med they sent me, alot like BC, will flush it out, but I have not seen any signs(bleed) of this yet.
I happen to think that these stims really mess you up, but thats more money for them.

I, too, had this problem after every stim cycle. I had leftover cysts. I would take bcp for a month and start stims again. It was very frustrating in the beginning, but after a few cycles, I just knew to expect that. From what I understand, they don't want to move forward with more stims, as once you get further along in your cycle, they don't know what are the new follicles and what is the old cyst.

I don't have any experience with the drug that they put you on, but I am sorry that you are having to go through it.

The cyst always went away with bcp and I started the next stim/IUI cycle after that.
