Hi everyone.
Following an HSG exam yesterday, my husband & I found out that I have almost no use of either of my fallopian tubes. One is entirely blocked, and the other is almost as bad. Without use of my tubes, we have been instructed to start considering IVF. It was obviously hard news to receive, but after 3 years of trying and NTNP, it was honestly also a RELIEF to finally have a diagnosis & some answers.
Aside from the Tubal Issues, we are both pretty fertile. His sperm is good, my eggs are great, and we're both very healthy. Our Fertility Specialist is very optimistic that we'll respond well to IVF whenever we are able to do it. We're presently aiming for this summer (August or so).
Until then, I'm looking forward to hearing your stories & advice and getting to know some of you. I can't tell you how nice it is to have access to a community of people like you with shared experiences. NONE of my friends or family can relate to what we're going at all, and it can be a bit lonely at times.
