Just curious

As most of you know, I had 4 eggs to fertilize & my transfer is scheduled for Saturday. I'm about to turn 38 in a month. If in my shoes, how many would you transfer? I'm leaning towards 3, but I'm just not sure!! So confusing to think. Especially when I don't know the odds of any of them sticking!

I was in your shoes a couple of months ago. I am 36 and the first time we did IVF I only did 2 and it did not work. The second time we did 3 and I am pregnant with a singleton. I did a three day transfer because my embryo's don't look so great after 3 days.

I'm wondering if I should just do all 4. This is our first time doing IVF, so I'm not sure exactly what is best. I know the embryologist said on the phone a 2 or 3 transfer, so I don't know. I just want it to work!! LOL

I've always been told that you have a 25% chance of getting pregnant by IVF. So 1 in 4. I'd do all 4. That is if you are ok with the chance of multiples.

I am 39 and I transferred 3 last IVF cycle. I transferred 2 the first cycle. Go with your gut. You won't regret it. They will probably be more willing to transfer them all if you have 1 leftover to freeze, or at least my RE said.

My thought was I could live with triplets, but would always second guess if I only went with 2 and didn't get pregnant.

We ended up transferring 2 that were near perfect, according to the embryologist. They performed assisted hatching on them, so hopefully that will be helpful through this process.

Now...do I wait until next Friday to POAS or just wait until the 25th for the blood test???!!??
