I had my transfer on Thursday and I was told no BD'ing for four days. I read online some women don't BD until they get their beta bw. Also I read that some women don't want to have their "o" until the first u/s. Thoughts? Suggestions? I want to have the best chances. Baby dust,
Steph

We have not bd since before egg retreival- a little while before because my ovaries were so big. I think I will feel comfortable bd after ultrasound on Tuesday. Just overly cautious I guess. Some girls have bleeding with irritated cervix and that would freak me out!

I was put on "pelvic rest" a couple of days before the retrieval, and stayed that way until I was 9 weeks pregnant. My ovaries were huge, I had unexplained bleeding, and my RE wanted to be cautious.

Oh wow! That stinks. I have not had any bleeding and the ovary cramping has subsided. DBF is anxiously awaiting to find out when we can bd. LOL

I was told not to BD a week prior to ER due to large ovaries that may twist. And then we were told not to till AFTER our u/s. We did not foresee such a long BD break!! Wish we had been warned! Oh well, it'll be worth it in the end

(besides during all our natural cycles and IUIs there was entirely too much BD going on! )

Katie- When is ur u/s? We dont BD a lot as of lately because DBF is out of state and has been traveling a lot and since we knew we would be doing IVF for a while, it has been the perfect time for him to go. Now we are trying to figure out when we can BD. I just want the baby to stick. We are at day 5 post retrieval. I am going a little crazy. When is it safe to test? I want the HCG trigger shot out of my system. I want to POAS just to see the pregnant but know that right now it will be false. I am hoping the bean will implant early so I can get an early BFP. LOL.
