Hi ladies,

I think I may have a yeast infection. I noticed it was slightly itchy but not unbearable. I've noticed this since last week. I think it might be the doxcycline I was on for the ET.

I did a quick search online and in the forum, and I got the impression that it's not safe to use Monistat or anything in the first trimester. Most tried natural remedies first.

I just came back from my 2nd beta, and my RN said it's totally safe for me to use the Monistat 3 or Monistat 7.

Anyone else developed one too after their ET?

I got one after I started my first round of anitibiotics. The antibiotics kill all the good bacteria in there so it is normal. I was prescribed the pill version though and it took care of it in 1 day. I wasn't pregnant then though.

I had the on-call doctor paged and she told me that Monistat is ok to use. I got DH to go get me the Monistat 3.

Gosh, I really hope it won't jeopardize anything. Worried and nervous.
