Hi Ladies...the short on me: DH and I have been TTC for over 2 1/2 years. After tons of meds and 4 failed IUI procedures. I just had a laparoscopy that revealed two blocked tubes with scarring. They were able to unblock the right tube but the scar tissue still remains. The scar tissue on the left tube and blockage still remains on the left tube, so we have been bumped up to IVF.

DH and I are POP patients when it comes to infertility and I was just wondering if anyone had to pay for their first initial IVF consult? What does the first consult entail? what will happen during the consult? How long after the consult do you start the procedure?

DH and I plan to take out the fertility loan we can get through a company that works with our RE's office. Should DH and I be applying for that loan now? How long does it take to get approved for a loan like that? Just trying to see what we are up against. DH and I will be traveling during the first week of September so I want to make sure we don't mess up our timing.

Any advice you could give would be amazing. What questions should I ask during the consult?
