TTC naturally for one year August 2010 until August 2011 and knew something was wrong
Aug 2011-Oct 2011: Saw RE #1 - bad experience- started clomid and recommended IUI, which failed.
Started with NEW RE October/November 2011
Found DH's low morphology in October/November 2011
HSG - no issue with tubes
RE Recommended IVF with ICSI - decided to start the process in Jan.
IVF Cycle #1:
ER 2/2/12 - 13 retrieved, 12 fertilized, 8 frozen.
ET 2/5/12 - transferred two embryo's - 8 cell and 7 cell
Beta HCG on 2/17/12: :BFN:
This is so exciting that testing is happening! I had my u/s today and there is activity but still too early to measure much. I will have more bloodwork Sunday and my next u/s Monday. I am a slow responder. Adding Ganirelix tomorrow. Just praying I have the luck of you ladies!
Alicia- did you take the another test? Can't wait to see the pic
Becky- Hang in there only a little while longer till your ER.
Elle- Are you feeling better today?
AFM- Today (all day) I have had a sharp shooting pulsating pain in my low right front area. It comes and goes about every 1-2 minutes and only lasts about 2-3 seconds. WHAT COULD THAT BE FROM? ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCE THAT? Alicia, my beta is Thursday but I will test on Tuesday (7dp3dt). I'm so excited for you.....CONGRATS!

Quick update... I did test again, and got the same line within the 10 minutes. We are running out the door for a birthday party, so no picture, but I will test again in the morning and update then!
Alicia: That definitely looks like a BFP! Awesome!!
Brynn: I'm excited for you to start testing! Come on BFP!!
Becky: Initially I was responding slowly, and BAM - I was right on track! I hope you have the same experience!
AFM: The retrieval went well. I'm still a bit crampy, but all in all I'm good. We arrived for 7am, I was hooked up to my IV, etc and the procedure started at about 7:40am and we were eating breakfast by 9:30am They retrieved 16 eggs! I'm very pleased with that number, considering my amh I really didn't know what to expect. Tomorrow I will find out how many, if any have fertilized! Please keep your fingers crossed for me!
Brynn: Thank you! I as well as my RE were very pleased with that number!
AFM: Sorry for TMI, but the meds from the ER have totally backed me up.. ugh.. Any suggestions? The woman that called with the update on my eggs told me to try Colace, so I went out and purchased that. I am going to try a cup of coffee first because that usually makes me need to go, but I've never been backed up before, so hopefully it will help.
Update on eggies: I received an update this morning and 13 out of 16 have fertilized!! Fingers crossed that we receive a good report tomorrow.
Holy CRAP Lee-Anna that is so amazing!!! Everyone is doing so great! Elle are you testing (for real) soon?
Brynn: I wouldn't worry about the cramping. Pregnant and non pregnant I've had every feeling under the sun. I'm sure it's all good stuff!
AFM: I feel. Like. Crap. Not only hormonal and headachey but now I am sick. I have a sore throat and clogged nose. Plus no u/s til Monday. I hate being slow! I just want this over with. Still saying my mantras every day...I WILL have a lot of eggs, I WILL get pregnant, I WILL have a healthy baby. Just can't take any more disappointments, losses, etc.
No pics ladies...DH is home! And he now found my stash of tests and hid them so no more testing for me for now. I did manage to test this morning with an Answer brand test and again got a very faint BFP... I dont relly know what to think...they are all BFPs, but not darker yet...but still a good sign right?
Becky - I am sorry you are getting sick! Hope you feel better soon!
Brynn - I have had tons of cramping the entire time since transfer.
Super bummed today. BFN but I have kind of felt it coming. I was thinking about not testing until Monday when I have my blood draw but I am way too impatient for that. I am feeling much better though. Almost all bloating is gone and the crampy feelings are gone as well. This is the first day I have felt normal in 3 weeks. On a fun note, we saw The Hunger Games today and it rocked!! I loved the books and the movie was great!
Lee-Anna! Awesome numbers!! You should have some great embryos from that. So excited for you. As for the constipaton, I had the same issue. Just dont do what I did and over do it on the fiber. That is something you do not want to experience. I had some of the worst cramps last Sat. My Mom thought she may have to take me to the ER but it passed and we realized it was from the fiber. Just drink tons of fluid and do eat fiber, just not too much. It will just take a couple days. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
Brynn, I hope those babies are getting nice and cozy in there. Are you testing tomorrow? Good luck!!
Alicia, we want to see more tests! I understand though if you are going to wait until your blood test. It is such a roller coaster and having that beta number will be so much better than a pink line. How are you feeling? Any symptoms at all?
Becky, sorry you are feeling like crap. On the days when I really felt bad I did a little exercise and it really helped. I know you arent supposed to do much so I just walked and it felt so good. Luckily I felt pretty good while stimming, my bad days came after the ER.

Elle- don't lose hope yet. It still could be really early. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you. Good luck if you decide to test tomorrow. If not take it easy and do something for you to help make you feel better. I hope you get the best news on Monday. I will not test tomorrow. I'm still thinking I'm not testing until Tuesday(7dp3dt) which is still really early. I have seen a lot of people get neg then pos. 1 to 2 days later. I definitely won't be testing any eariler. I am NOT a POAS addict. I can't handle the disappointment

Brynn - I didnt get a positive until 6dp5dt. Today was 7dp5dt and I could still barely see the positive. I know Im pregnant though. Tonight i started having the worst stomach ache, (TMI warning!) And horrible diarrhea and nausea. This is the exact same thing that happened thr day before I found out I was pregnant with Mason, and my beta was only 22. This is the only time before that I have ever felt like this.
Elle - It is super early still. I bet your BFP is a day or two away. And Im so jealous you got to see the Hunger Games! Im 3/4 through book two and once I finish the series then Ill go!
Hi ladies! Just a quick update on my fertility report.. I am so shocked to say that all 13 of my fertilized eggs have divided properly! I so did not expect that, but I am thrilled. I really hope they all make it to my transfer day and so that we can have some frosties. I am scheduled for a 5 day transfer on Wednesday!
Ok so I guess today is my day to start feeling down about my cycle. Ever since my RE called me on Friday telling me our 3rd embryo did not make it I'm just not having a lucky feeling. Remember he was so sure transferring that 3rd would result in triplets, then it doesn't make it. The only hope I have is that the other couple the donor helped out is prego with twins and a friend and I went to see a psychic a year ago and she told me she sees me pregnant between March and July and with twins. I asked her if it would be this year(meaning 2011) and she said she couldn't tell. Now a year later it's March and this is my only hope. This is all so dishearting. I guess I'm just really sad because I know this is it. After 8 years, $126,000 and all the emotional stress we have no other choice but to give up and say we are done. Now that we don't have that 1 frozen embryo that we thought we would have life is just seeming hopeless and stressful now. I'm pretty against test before Tuesday but I'm thinking I might test tomorrow evening....idk this is all so draining.

Lee-Anna: Well **** you are the lucky one of the group! Amazing results!
AFM: Had an u/s today and saw 6 follies around 12, a few less then 10. Not a great result in IVF land but for me, not awful. They weren't sure I'd respond at all. When they called today they are actually lowering my follistim dose, wonder if my estrogen is going crazy? I will have daily monitoring from here on out, HOPING I trigger Wednesday and retrieval Friday! I just hope there's something good in there!
