You guys that needed the full bladder for transfer - did you have a full bladder for your mock transfer?

Mine wanted mine empty for the transfer, now I am wondering if I need a full bladder too for the real transfer.

Mine didn't request a full bladder for the mock transfer, but he did tell me I needed one for the real deal.

Gretchen – yes, for the mock transfer I needed a full bladder. During the transfer the ultrasound tech is doing a transabdominal ultrasound so the RE can see what she is doing, so the bladder needs to be full to see through it. I think I’ve read where some clinics are able to a transvaginal ultrasound during the transfer so doesn’t matter if the bladder is full or not, in fact, probably better to see with an empty bladder.

Welcome, Tamara! GL to you!

Brooke, congrats on your transfer! Relax and pamper yourself a bit, my fingers and toes are crossed that your little embies snuggle right in!

AFM- I have beta #2 first thing in the morning and I'm finding it hard to sleep tonight. Praying for a big number tomorrow. No major symptoms other than fatigue and sore boobs so far. If we have a singleton, due date will be November 28th; if twins, November 6th.

I hope everyone had a great weekend and that this week brings us all wonderful progress!

New ladies, welcome and good luck!!!

They told me to drink a lot before coming in but weren't concerned with it being extremely full. It didn't really make a difference to me because I was already in a lot of pain from ER, I barely felt when they did the actually transfer.

Good Luck tomorrow Jenlynn

I have stayed strong and haven't tested, beta in the morning! I'll probably get up early and leave when DH leaves for work. I'll make sure they do the right test this time as well! Another plus, not another drop of red since Friday morning so I'm feeling pretty positive!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Good Luck JenLynn and Kim on your betas this morning. I am so proud of you both for not POAS and getting yourselves all worked up over those sticks. Good job! Sending postive thoughts for BFP. I hope all you ladies had a good weekend.

Me: Still having a hardtime sleeping cause of the Lupron. I spend all weekend cleaning and researching different ways to color eggs. I even tired some. I boiled a bunch so that they are ready when the family is all together one evening this week. I think I just had EGGS on my my mind - LOL I do have some extra energy as well - I kinda like that. Dreading my Delestrogen shot this evning I should have just had DH give it to me this morning so I didn't get myself all worked up over it all day long like I am already doing. I go Wed for us/bloodwork and DE starts stims! CD6 for us both today and CD8 for us on Wed.

Thanks Gretchen and Tamara! Just got DH off to work, I'm getting dressed and heading in, I'm a little nervous!

Tamara- Good Luck tomorrow!

Gretchen- take a deep breath and remind yourself what it's for, it only takes a few seconds! Try not to get too worked up, it makes you tense and the shot hurts more! Good luck!

Have a Great Day everyone!!!!

Hi ladies!

To all tose who've recently joined: Welcome to the board! GREAT to have you with us!

Jenny Lyn: Good luck on your beta!!!

Gretchen: I also work myself up all day over the shots. I'm sorry. I have no advice. I think I hate needles about as much as you do! Hugs!

Things are really moving along for us, hey?! I predict an an onslaught of BFPs soon!

So AFM, my clinic called this morning to ask why I didnt come in for my blood test! I was completely shocked because according to my planning, I should go in tomorrow (26th)

I had my baseline on 21 March (and started Stims that same night).

I then have blood & US scheduled for 26/28/30 March.

So I think my clinic made a mistake and meant for me to come in today (25th); but its just incorrectly noted on my planning.

Now this little thing has me stressing all day! I meant today will be my 5th Gonal F shot...is it usual to have the first progession check after 5 days?

So, I'm going to be a bag of nerves tomorrow when I go...hope I'm not overstimming!

Wow, its crazy how every little detail get so big in my head during this time!

On the other hand, I have only 1 week left on injections! (I think I will be taking my Ovidrel shot on 31st March.

I cant wait to say goodbye to needles! Last nights shot was the worst! The Gonal F shot was OK, but the Lupon needle went in too deep and it hurt like hell!

I spent a good 2 hours crying after that, then blamed DH (who gave me the shot) and we have a huge fight.

Aaahhh, the joys of medicated mood swings!

JenLynn - good luck this morning…hoping you have great doubling numbers

Kim – what will power you have not testing! Good luck!

Gretchen – sorry you are having a hard time with the Lupron, how much longer are you on it?

AFM – I went in this morning for my progesterone levels, I should hear back later this morning how the levels are doing. I have my first serum HCG through my RE clinic scheduled for April 1st, well, I go back to work tomorrow and I’m in the medical field and have access to labs, and can very easily get my serum HCG checked tomorrow while working...so what do you ladies think? I’ll be 5dp3dt...?

Grace- they skipped one of my stimming appointments because I was so far away and didn't seem concerned about it at all. It will all be fine, don't worry! Sorry about the difficult shot ;(

Aimee- Good Luck! I'm probably the wrong person to answer this but I would wait another day or two; they messed up and did beta 4dp3dt when they were doing progesterone and it came back normal at that point. I don't think its will power, I don't think I would handle getting BFNs very well so I really couldn't bring myself to do it. I actually thought that I would want to before I started everything, but when the time came I think I was just too nervous!

I'm on my way out the door for beta!!!!!!!

So... when is it appropriate for me to start bugging the clinic about my results? I had blood draw at around 9 and its 10 now. They told me it would take about an hour to get the results and they would get them to the clinic STAT. Not sure I can wait more than 30 more minutes! Sorry if this is just a waste of space guys, I'm going a little crazy!

Hi again ladies!

Jennlynn and J&K-best of luck with your betas today!

Kayakr-I had to have a full bladder for both. After the transfer my RE used a catheter to empty my bladder so that I was more comfortable.

MEE MEE-I'm with you, this waiting sux!

Kayakr & j&t-I am 43 as well ;-)

Stillwaiting-Thinking of you!

AFM-5dp5dt; Dh wants me to wait for beta and not test. I am alittle like Leah-I have a stash-15 internet cheapies, 1 FRER and 2 digitals but I'm really going to try to not test. Going nuts, yesterday I had really bad cramps possible gas pains?

At work-will catch up on personals later-cheering everyone on

Ok, Sorry for the mass amount of posts this morning guys. I just called my clinic, they have my results but they wont tell me what they are until the CNP has time to call me around lunch. At first they tried to tell me I have to wait till 3:30, which is 4:30 here. Someone other than the normal front desk person answered the phone and I'm pretty sure she would have told me. Now I just have to wait for like 3 hours! How is that fair? I should find something to keep me busy since I'm not working today but I feel like I can't do anything that might make me miss my phone ringing. I'm tempted to call the hospital and ask them, they probably wont give me the results either though and I'll be mad again! Do they not understand how nerve racking this is????? OK I'm done with my rant! On a side note, would I expect to start AF while still on PIO or will that keep it away? I'm now 14dp3dt.

Kim - oh that would frustrate the heck out of me knowing that they have the results now just have to have the right person call you back...good luck I hope you get great news soon!

AFM - I just got a call back about my blood work, my progesterone level was great, but my estrogen level was just a little low so they had me put another patch on, so I now 5 patches...I'm a little stressed because it means it's been low for a couple of days now, so what does that me for my embryos trying to implant and grow?!?!? Hopefully my levels will get where they need to be soon! I decided I will most likely not test tomorrow, from what I've been researching a 3day embryo might not have even implanted that early, so I'll probably wait until I work again on Friday...ok I'm just rambling now so I'll sign off.....good luck everyone....

Welcome Tarheel! So good to see you here!!!! OMG 10dpo technically, I think you should test I'm so excited for you. How long are you going to wait to test with all of them calling your name?

Tamara and Hartbaybe, welcome too!!!! So glad you've joined us!!

Gretchen, I needed a full bladder for both. So excited for you

Grace, I did my first shots on Saturday and I don't go in for my u/s until Wednesday, that is 5 days of stims for me. I went in for bloodwork today, they can tell from that how you are probably doing, but the follie check is just to see if there are any front runners and how everyone is doing in there You're doing great! And as far as needles, I stick them in as far as they can go! But I'm sorry your Dh hurt you last night. It will all be worth it in the end!

Aimee, I think it's a little early yet...I'd give it 2 more days

Kim - best of luck with your beta!!

I stopped bcp's last Tuesday, after my baseline u/s...lining 3.8. But then on Saturday (8 days after after af) I started bleeding again! I'm worried about my lining. Praying it has time to bounce back. Do any of you know what your lining was at baseline?
